Anna Sun is intense. While she might come off incredible friendly (which she is -- no doubt about it), she expects a lot out of you. Her work will be intimidating and her expectations high but it's because she takes Sociology seriously. I'd definitely recommend this class to anyone who really wants to know about the subject. They'll learn a lot! :)

She is a nice woman, but I would advice people to take her class only if you are very interested in sociology/being a socy major. She really does not make good use of class time. If you are just looking for an easy intro class, I would take a different professor or different class.

Great Professor!!!! Really tries to bring the best out of her students. She makes everyone feel important and is one of the kindest women I have ever met. She has a real passion for teaching.

Anna Sun is probably one of Kenyon's greatest professors ever. She is brilliant and a great mentor. I love this woman--I learned so much in this class.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. She's an extremely nice person, and she cares about her students and the material, but she's just not that great a teacher. She spends large portions of class time on details of little to no relevance, then has to rush through the important material at the end. She really is very friendly though.

Wonderful teacher! One of the nicest professors I've ever had, so enthusiastic about the material, smart, amazing! You absolutely have to take one of her classes, and she also needs to get a permanent position at the college, she is such a wonderful asset.
