I really appreciate the approach to history used by Mr. Raznick. His US History course was very interesting and although I've studied lots of History, there were many things that he taught which other courses had missed. He very much wants you to actually learn and process history rather than simply memorize a bunch of useless facts.

His style of teaching history actually made it interesting for me. He prepares you for the tests and lets you use notes and handouts. Easy going and helpful. He wants you to do well.

Awesome teacher. I quote him, "I want to see what you've learned. I'm not trying to stump you on any of the tests." I just wish that more teachers would adopt this philosophy. The cool thing is in his classes you learn more about society rather than dates and facts. It makes it easier to stay engaged. Awesome teacher. Take his Classes.

A man who loves history. The class requires that you show up, read a lot and do the project. He is very helpful and kind. The movies are interesting, and he is flexible with how you do the book report, which is nice. Highly recommended.

If you're not a big history buff, you better be a good listener. This guy is really nice and helpful when it comes to getting extra credit I just found that the class didn't have a ton of excitement (which I need in a history class because I'm very bad at it!). Otherwise he is great! Super friendly and quirky.

He is a really nice person and very understanding. He grades you on your idea not the length or use of languages. Useful study guides and instructions on all assignments. He doesn't grade very hard on homework but harder on exams. His students should read the textbook very often and take good notes for exams.

Great teacher. Very nice and helpful, loves teaching, grades fairly if you do the job. There are many handouts and readings, exams are open book and he gives you extensive review sheets in order for you to basically do your exam at home before copying clearly your answers. Got a B without being the most serious.

Great teacher with a good grading system. For his class there will be two big exams, one book review, a small quiz, and he also grades on attendance (he starts class on time gives a break and will dismiss 30min. early). Plus lots of extra credit. Teacher knows the material and is up-to-date with recent news. He likes answering questions. Easy A

Great Teacher. He cares about the material a lot and loves participation. Do not take his class if you don't want to talk about the news or the reading. His class is designed for discussion and it will be a boring one if no one participates.

not the most charismatic guy but gets the job done. He is kinda soft spoken but he is well organized and does a good job. If you come to class and pay attention you will do well on the tests. He has lots of extra credit and easy points so anyone can get an A

He is a good teacher. There are many extra credit opportunities. The multiple choice portion of exams is pretty hard but he gives so much make up deals that it's an easy A, but you must do the work.

Easy A, provided you keep up with readings (a chapter/week of required textbook); otherwise, multiple choice exam deliberately confusing. Plenty of extra credit opportunities. Approaches history from a social-movement perspective. Can be rambling and unorganized sometimes; needs to learn to control class better and stick to lesson plans.

The multiple tests are hard (very hard) but he lets you use notes on the tests and quizzes. I recommend coming to every class a lot of people don't, and those are the ones who fail the class.

I have really learned a lot from taking this class, but I had to do a lot of reading and a lot of note taking. Raznick teaches via mostly lecture and I felt like some nights his lectures were really clear, and other times a bit rambling. Overall he's a good teacher.

I really enjoyed his class. Made it easy to keep up and understand concepts presented. He has kind of a timid demeanor but he knows what he's talking about and likes to engage students in discussions. I thought he was great.

He is intelligent and knows what he is talking about. A little bit leftist in a good way. Totally fair and there's not a crazy amount of work to do. Just make sure to read the text. He also explains exactly what you should expect to find on the exams, so it's very easy to study for them. He's a great teacher.
