Very time consuming; material isn't all that difficult but the amount of time you need to cover all the materials is pretty overwhelming. Doesn't lecture you much on what's going to be on his exams. He tells interesting stories though. HW and quizes are grade booster. Exams are HARD-He curves well. Don't be afraid! :)

Not a bad guy. Has a Sense of Humor Don't take his jokes in the wrong way. Curves based on the class so hard to predict your standing. All written ExM&Qz no MC but get carry forward points and partial points which help alot. Knows his stuff. Helps if you submit homework empty first to see how it is worked then work it from there.

Very intelligent man, PHD and CPA, knows what he is talking about. However, very poor professor. 75% of the material that you learn in this course, you teach yourself. His lectures help somewhat, but are not clear at all. He gives very limited example questions to work out, very limited. I would HIGHLY suggest that no student take him.

This guy knows accounting inside and out and tells some interesting stories too. He doesn't use Powerpoint but he does give out outlines and spreadsheets that are useful. Be prepared to take notes though, he goes over everything you need to know in class. Reading each chapter before class helps a lot too. Overall I would recommend Prof. Buchanan.

Honestly not a good professor. All he does is talk and talk, most of the time not making any sense, and by the time class ends speaks nothing about the chapter. Gives barely any examples or problems to work out during class. Hard to learn in his class because nothing really makes sense.

If you're going to take his class, you REALLY need to study outside of class. He's a tough guy, but he's been teaching for so long and definitley knows his stuff. If you study well and work hard, you can pass the class.

This is quite possibly the worst professor I have ever come across. He's rude to his students (what happened to mutual respect?). He sends one word responses to emails, gets irritated when you ask questions, and makes it his mission to fail as many students as possible. I walked away with a C despite all the hard work I put in! Don't take him!

If you take him, you should study by yourself first. His teaching, quiz and exams all come from different way, and his grades are tough, if you want to pass this class avoid him.

Good Professor. Old school in the fact that he doesn't utilize Powerpoint presentations or notes. He fully expects you to sit there and take notes (which shouldn't be an issue, it's college folks!) Other than that, I HIGHLY suggest that you do all of the homework, over and over, until you get the material. Do that and enjoy your A.

Not sure what the people on here are complaining about. This class is hard because its information on the CPA exam. Don't expect managers in the real world to be nice and helpful. This professor prepares you for the real world. Take him if you want to experience that.
