Hist 1302 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

By FAR the best lecturer I've ever had. She talks to you in a story format and gives you relevant and "behind the scenes" info that helps you remember the material. If you go to class daily, take complete notes, pre-write your essays and ID's before the test and have her give you feedback, you will do well. Record her lectures - she talks fast!!

HIST 1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Hands down one of the best lecturers I've ever had the pleasure of taking a class with. Covers everything on the test in her lectures and on powerpoints. Study guides are long but extremely helpful. She makes the most boring era of history super interesting. Highly recommend!

HIST-1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Lectures consist mostly of unimportant information while concealing what might be useful. Only worry about the identities she gives in class and use the book for the rest. In contrast, VERY helpful outside of class. For any questions, meet with her when she says and she'll give you all the info you actually need.Get the footnotes right on papers!

HIST 1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

She is really interesting, her lectures are never boring but she is tough. You will have to meet with her outside of class b/c you never know what she really wants on her I.D.'s and essays. Grammer is very important to her, also do the extra papers.

HIST101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Lectures are full of blatant misinformation. Uses stories, anecdotes and frequently messes up important dates and statistics. Class should be considered unacceptable by any college academic standards.

Ways to succeed in her class? 1. Show up on time. 2. Read the chapters / print out the outlines and take good notes 3. Get a study group together EARLY! 4. Answer all the unit reviews, essay questions and know the IDs. 5. Get your book report and research paper done early...KNOW Turabian formating and you'll ace her class!

Ms. Biehler is an awesome . She keeps you engaged, very animated, and very knowledgeable. She makes history so interesting. She has plentiful stories to keep you awake. Her tests are very easy if you write down every single thing she says. Recommend getting a recorder. Studying is necessary. I took her in the summer no essay and recieved an A

Tests are pretty tough, her multiple choice questions are worded weird and sometimes hard to understand. Taking a summer class, she didn't make us do a research paper but instead we needed to write two essays per test. Finished with an A but could have easily gotten a B.

Her exams are more difficult than they should be. My biggest complaint is her teaching of disputed events in history as fact. Also, the way she presents a topic is strongly colored by her personal beliefs. In my report and essays I contradicted her portrayal of events with evidence from other sources, this earned me a C grade.

HISTHIST Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

First class taken after being out for several years and not bad at all. Not pleased that the only way to make a A/B is to do the book report and research paper. She keeps it interesting. I used a recorder as she talks fast. Overall I enjoyed her class.

She uses powerpoints in her lecture that are very clear. She also has reviews online that go over everything on the tests. Shes interesting, funny, and easy to pay attention to. All you have to do is TAKE NOTES IN CLASS and DO HER REVIEWS. Do that, and an easy A.

She does not really teach. Her class is way to hard and she thinks that her class is the most important. She gives to much work for just one class. DON'T TAKE HER CLASS IF YOU WANT TO PASS!!! I wish you the best of luck.

HIST1301 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

The first test, half the class failed. FAILED. There was ONE A. She's way too hard. She talks too fast to take down notes whether you type or write by hand. Bring a recorder (if you HAVE to take her). I barely squeezed through this class with an A, only because I stopped reading the book and started making flash cards of the I.D's (vocab).

Make sure you take notes!! Lectures are quick and not very detailed. But everything on the test is from the notes. And if you miss a day, get the notes from a friend NOT the teacher.

She talks REALLY fast through the lectures and her grading policy is ridiculous. She's also anal about getting up to go to the bathroom (she'll yell at you when you come back) and if you have to leave early (she'll ban you from attending the next day). I wouldn't recommend this teacher to anyone. Ever.

I am taking her class right now. If you want to pass the class you HAVE to attend EVERY class. The only good thing about her is that she lets you re-test. Her grading is not that fair, but whatever. Overall, she is OK. If you do not have a TON of time to study and do research papers DO NOT take her class. Hope this help! Good Luck.

her grading is not fair, you to turn in a research paper and book review to make an A, expect a rude attitude, lectures are way toooo fast, some students that are straight from high school have a very hard time with her class, do not recommend

Have to study hard for the tests! If you ask a question in class, expect sarcasm. Lectures are interesting, but go by fast. Take lots of notes!
