Best professor. Expect to continue learning a month after the class is over if you're at all thoughtful about your projects and the readings he assigns after the class ends. READ EVERYTHING HE SUGGESTS!!

ARCH2551 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

The most intelligent professor I've ever had. With just one look at your work, in one second, he would tell you what you had to improve. He enjoyed dropping by the studio in the middle of the night just to see who was working. One tip: while the final presentation always leave a bowl of M&M's next to his chair...he'll be in a better mood.

Rather blunt, and opinionated. Will not tolerate slackers, appreciates hard work and someone with a sense of humor (don't take the class if you can't laugh at your own silly mistakes). Overall one of the best teachers I've had; worked really hard, learned A LOT and would do it again.

Arch3554 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Best teacher you'll ever have or know. A wealth of knowledge, heavy work load, multiple projects. In the end you will have some great projects for your portfolio.

Boswell is a great teacher but you need to work hard. If you do this, you'll learn a lot and enjoy the class. If you want to slack and not work so hard then he is not the teacher for you.

He's helpful when he wants to be. You have to know how to handle him. He wants to be picked on, he wants to be joked around with. It's as simple as that. If he likes you, you'll do well, you'll get the help and the grade, if he doesn't, well, you might want to pray because you just simply won't get that much back from him.

I had this guy in 1980 and still remember how he left a bad taste in my mouth. I guess if he is letting you know what it's like to someday have the "boss from Hell" then he does serve a purpose. He had a TA named Hunter that was about as bad as I remember it. I'd love to show him my drawings in Archetectural Digest Jan 91 edition...
