Lectures a lot, but he clearly loves the topic and encourages class discussion to break it up. A lot of emphasis on "participation" which boosts to your grade at the end of the semester. If you don't talk he uses your quiz grades. I failed every quiz and spoke up in class so I got an A. Incredibly smart guy, and not AT ALL bad to look at either. ;)

Read all the other reviews. Good teacher. Smart guy. Definitely a liberal. I never really read the books but as long as you put in your two cents every class your cool. The content can be a bit challenging but he makes it easy. Very intelligent guy.

His classes are very interesting, and he likes participation. His tests are all from the lecture and are very easy. Most of the time you just talk about issues that are going on in politics. He has a lot of knowlege and knows what he is talking about. Very laid-back, and is flexible with extra credit. Great teacher!

By far my favorite class so far. I didn't really read the books, but when it comes to the final, he basically gives you all the questions. Make sure you participate in class, even though you might not know what's going on, but you still get credit. I recommend taking this class with him especially if you aren't very good with the politics.

Great Class Great Teacher. Took him for POL 140 and didn't like him, now he's one of my favs. Much better in a small discussion class than big lecture. Interesting subject matter, very easy expectations. Just show up and talk & there is no way you'll get less than a B. He just wants you to think critically & form your own opinion, whatever they are

Tonnnny! This guy is one of a kind! EVERYDAY is interesting- meaning, he lets the students voice their opinion!!! Sometimes, the debate is an intense one, but he sits back and listens, and smiles when somebody says something ridiculous! :D If you have to take Politics, take POL 140 with him!!!

This guy kicks ass! He is very crystal clear about his objectives and goals in the class. Very accessible. He does tend to write hard tests, however, huge curves are given. If you come to class and participate, you are golden.

Really awesome teacher, you can tell he loves the material and wants students to engage and pay attention. Show up to class and put in the effort, and just stare at him since he's not too bad to look at

hes aan awesome guy. really young and enthusiastic. his class is really easy. he is slightly liberally biased but i even had a friend who was raised very conservative who loved his class because of his demeanor, openness, and willingnesss to help. she ended up loving a class she thought she would hate. he was very engaging

He is a left winger, but he's easy. Only thing I really didn't like about the class was the 2-3 left wing videos we had to watch and the fact that he had "his viewpoint" questions on the tests. I think he is going to be teaching somewhere else after the 06-07 school year... Show up to class, take a few notes and you will get an A.

I really enjoyed this class. He doesn't take attendance and posts his lectures online yet I still attended almost every class because I thought it was very interesting. Anthony is a really good professor, he is really young too and I thought he was pretty hot. I would definitely recommend him for pol 106.

enjoyable class, knowledgeable professor. those angry with the class are just unhappy the teacher challenges the ideas their parents and high school teachers taught them. they'd rather skip class than think critically.

Left Wing Freak!! If you lean to the left then you will love this guy. Not a balanced class at all! Very biased, we watched NAACP videos in class and are tested on them. Michael Moore would be proud of this guy. If you have any political sense don't waste your time with this "professor".
