Excellent Professor. If you take good notes, come to every class, and pay attention..you'll do great! He really tries to help students understand the material and tries to explain any question very thoroughly. very respectful and fair. has entertaining lectures and tries to make the harder material easy to understand. Take him!

Best professor I've had at UGA... and I've had pretty much everyone in the Psych department. Take his class regardless of what he is teaching! He is definitely one of the good/smart ones!!! :)

overall, great teacher. really interesting and comprehensible. loved this class. no tests was a plus too- easy A if you come to class and participate. i heard he's adding tests next semester though, but i'm sure it won't be too ridiculous as he's not the sort of teacher to try to give you a hard time. i think he just wants you to want to learn more

Rich is a wonderful prof. He gives great presentations. He also makes class interesting and helps explain difficult concepts since biology is related to the course. He wants people to learn the material, not be confused or memorizing and guessing. I believe if you are looking to learn and take an enriching course, this is it.

TAKE THIS CLASS! He is very helpful and super easy. He tells you exactly what is on the test and grades super fair. He's nice and funny. Psych majors take 3990 with him so worth it.

If you have a chance to take Suplita, DO IT!!! DO NOT PASS ON HIS CLASSES! He's an awesome professor and better yet, an awesome person!!! Very personable and makes material understandable and you actually learn!

This class was very easy. Unfortunately Dr. Suplita often seemed bored with the material and reiterated that he it was his first time encountering some of it. Otherwise he is nice and laidback. This class is EXACTLY like cognitive psyc, I would not recommend taking them both because it was extremely repetitive for me.

Dr. Suplita is an excellent instructor! He has reworked his classes to make them more challenging. Very professional, helpful, and engaging, he keeps the lectures interesting and the tests fair. He does expect students to show maturity and respect for him and other students, so if you can't handle that you might want to try someone else.

Definitely the most fun I've had in class at UGA. Our class did not have any tests or a final, it was solely class participation and writing assignments. So not only was the class interesting, it was easy, and Dr. Suplita is definitely an excellent teacher.

I recommend this class. It's pretty easy to get an A in--just show up, do the readings and participate. Plus Rich is pretty funny and pretty good-looking!

Suplita is pretty amazing! He definitely knows the material and is good at presenting it in a way that you can understand. He is also quite funny, which keeps lectures interesting. He's great about helping students out. This was a great class! I definitely would recommend taking a class with him!!!

I only had him for a lecture style intro psyc class, but I still came away loving that class for how fun, open and helpful he is. I almost wish I was a psyc major so I could take more of his classes. Highly recommended

He was hilarious and part of the reason I switched my major to Psych. I don't think he's teaching 1101 anymore...but I imagine any class with him is amazing. He likes to have interaction with students, like discussion. Tests were pretty easy, and almost no homework.

Second class with Rich and I think he did a great job. The last person stated that he was disorganized, but I think he did pretty good considering he has ADHD, was using eLC for the first time and modifying the class extensively, teaches more classes with more students in them than most other faculty, and is a single father of three small children.

Learned a lot, enjoyed class. Tests are extremely easy, and not representative of what you can get from the class as a whole. Clear lecturer but unorganized. It's funny to see a professor deride UGA as a football (rather than academic) institution and then be unprepared for class, along with an incomplete course schedule.
