She was an incredible teacher to have for my first semester of college! She was interested in seeing us pass the class. You DO NOT need the textbook, just her lecture outlines. She shows all of the paintings on the projector. Follow the outlines and get an A. It was a great class to be in.

Super nice. As long as you memorize the exact terms she tells you to, you're guaranteed an A. If you're happy with your grade after the 5th test, you're exempt from the final! Awesome teacher. I'd take her again anyday.

As long as you buy her workbook, take down all the key notes, and do your one powerpoint presentation, you past the class.

Awesome class. She really covers the milestones and highlights of the history of music extremely well, very easy to follow along as long as you take down notes. Overall just one of the nicest professors I've ever met.

One of the easiest classes I've ever taken. She makes it interesting and easy! You technically don't need the textbook, but you will need her outline book.

very easy class! humanities does not interest me one bit, but she was awesome. do not need to buy the book, but do need her outline book. the tests are very easy- only the stuff that are in bold in the outline book. get a 99 in class- very easy. plenty of extra credit chances

She is great... i was very nervous about this class over the summer.But i Aced it. So simple, fun, great teacher. gives you the exactly answer on test.

Dr.Satterfield has a great sense of humor and she is very cool. The work in the other hand is mind blowing. Rarely use textbook but workbook is manditory. To be honesty this is a boring class its just a lot of information to memorize.

Great person, excellent teacher, and really loves her field! She's kind and loves helping students and makes class very enjoyable. Lectures get a bit long at times, but the dull moments are bareable. I recommend her to anyone - music majors, art majors, even math majors who need the humanities credits.

The best class I took at CFCC! Dr. Sattersfield is AWESOME!! She makes learning music sooo much fun!! Part of this is what has caused me to switch to music education as a career! :) She's awesome and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone who needs a Music Appreciation class!! Oh and for easter one time, she wore this PIMP easter sweater lol
