I enjoyed this class. I respected Ms. Y's way of teaching. It helped me, but for others maybe not. She always offered study sessions instead of study guides. She was always willing to answer questions. Very nice teacher!

CHEM110 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

She gives a quiz on the beginning of most days, so be prepared. Also, every test she gives is based entirely on the notes and is only about 10 questions. I don't think she taught this well at all. She generally complicates things in an attempt to explain them better, which leaves everyone confused.

CHM110 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Like the subject, but she has an odd grading method on tests & pop quizzes, you don't know when a question is worth 2 pts or 15 pts! Miss the quiz, doesn't hurt your grade but do poorly on it and it will. She doesn't like questions primarily due to time limits but at least extra credit is offered. Got an A but it is my major. Weak @ Chem? Try Solis

Chem110 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Really poor instructor. She complicates concepts that should not be as difficult as she presents them. A student would be better off taking this class online and learning solely from the book than sitting in Prof Yasinsac's lecture. And for a Chemistry prof, she doesn't know details well at all... I would definitely recommend avoiding this prof!

CHEM110 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

We covered to much time on the easy stuff, and not enough on the more interesting areas. Chapters 1-6 could have gone faster for more time with 7-12. This also helps weed out people sleeping.. i mean slacking. That is disrepsectful.

She is an excellent teacher, as she has a real gift for making even complicated topics appear easy. Ms Yasinac is helpful and engages the students during lecture by encouraging participation. I highly recommend her!

Ms. Yasinsac is okay, she has a fun class with a chem joke every now and then that only she understands. Pay attention to everything and write everything down because she gives u a quiz at the beginning of EVERY class period which counts as 10% of that chapter's test grade. Be on time too cuz u fail the quiz if you are late w/o reason.

Not the best chem professor. Take notes and read the book "the book explanis it better". Yeah she is single and lonely, and you'll pay for it "blunt and mean at times".

At first she may come across as a bit abrasive, but give her a chance. She is a nice person and a good teacher. This class is not easy, but she gives you everything you need to know. Go to class and study your notes and you'll do well.

CHM 110 & 111 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Professor Yasinsac is very nice, but very, very hard. I think she wants students to succeed, but she can be seen as militant and overbearing. However, if you go to her with questions, she's more than willing to help. If you're looking for an easy out, however, you DON'T need to take Leslie. Be prepared to WORK!!!

I do not why this teacher is still at MTC. She is arrogant, terse, and reluctant to help the student. This could be a great class, but alas it is not.
