Worst explainer, i was scared to even ask a question because he starts correcting you and lecturing you on the appropriate language you should use instead of answering your question,you end up more confused.
MTH55
He gets very mad when he is not on schedule. If you think class be canceled well dont hope for it because he comes in 5 minutes late. Gives a lot of hw so get ahead. Do well on tests and quizzes.
MATH55
Neg: He speaks fast and is hard to understand. He doesn't really answer questions. Constantly tells you what you should already know. Pos: He pushes hw due dates back often to give you more time.
Math104
An easy class but he gives a lot of homework & doing all of the hw is the best way to do well in his quizzes and tests. It's a good class to take if you have time to devote to the work. I know a lot of people think he's hard to understand but his lectures were always really easy to follow for me, just don't skip a class.
Math55
He is extremely understanding when it comes to due dates. He has given us extentions many times, and he will drop the lowest quiz and test. The only thing is that he makes you feel dumb if you ask questions in class, but other than that he is pretty clear and very very fair.Take him

I did not like this teacher at all. Would not explain well,saying I had bad habits regarding how I was taught in HS. He gave me an F with no warning that I was failing. I thought I was getting a C. Repeated class this Spring and got an A from a teacher who cared. Seems from the reviews he is not that interested in the lower level math classes (105)

Dr. Dinh gave too much homework, and it was at times hard to handle. He was willing to help as much as he could, but students really to use the math lab to keep up. I got an A in the class, but I had to work really hard for it.

Great instructor. Good sense of humor. Tons of extra credit. Willing to help in his office and in the lab.

Professor Dinh is the best teacher I ever had. He will help you to succeed. Give a lot of extra credits. Let you make up bad grades.

He is an Okay teacher but he's hard to understand. Pay close attention to the lectures and take notes. He gives you extra credit for attending class and is very lenient on make-up quizes and test.

i hate him, his hard and talks so fast. and he gets mad when you ask him for help.
