PHY121 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

A very nice man who knows his subject well. Unfortunately, his ability to lead a class is extremely poor. His ability to examine the pitfalls of the content and help his students see them is also poor. There is very little difference between reading the book on your own and being in class.

I took 121 with him, and I'm so happy I'm taking 122 with Mackie! Although Dr. Mihalisin is a great person and obviously knows his subject perfectly, he is not a great teacher and his tests are totally unpredictable (at least they were when I took the course). I feel like I'm actually learning much more with Dr. Mackie now.

Intro Physics Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

The review before mine is perfect. Study groups are definitely the way to go to make sure u ace the tests, which are identical to his practice tests. Very easy to satisfy the "lab science" requirement.

Intro Class Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

I am a business major and had to take a 'lab class' even though this had no real seperate lab time and was all classroom style. Class was boring, but he gives you a study guide that practically mirrors all of you tests, very helpful! Also, if you are happy with your grade, you don't have to take the final or you can take a portion - good prof.
