She is not only the best professor I've ever had, but one of the most amazing people as well. Anyone who wants to say she doesn't care about her students has never had a conversation with her. You will get out of class what you put in, but it is absolutely worth going to every single time.

Kimmika was absolutely delightful. I love her! While she can be frustrating at times, she does know what she is talking about & really pushes the envelope. You will either love or hate this class, but I say go into it with an open mind. If you do what you are suppose to do, you'll do fine.

Definitely a cool lady, but her class was way too much work for a 3 credit race Gened. Class discussions were extremely frustrating and her arguments are often silly and one-sided. I dropped the class out of frustration and because I missed the mandatory plays we had to see almost every week.

Absolutely LOVE HER! She is truly the ultimate definition of a powerful independent Woman! This is the FOURTH class I've taken with her (Intro to Theater Process, Classical, Race On Stage and Poetry) and I learn so much from her. As someone stated, you have to WANT to learn something when dealing with her and best believe you will learn a WHOLE LOT

Dont take her she is horrible. She told us to buy a book and used an older and different version. Everyone failed the tests and she didnt care. She expected people to know everything about theatre even those who took it as an elective. stray away from this lady. shes horrible.

if you are not a theater major dont take her class!! she expects you to know everything about theater. its sort of absurd. and get ready for a lot of plays that are mandatory you see. also her tests are crazy she asks the most random stuff. we took a test on a play that a classmate was in and she still failed it. SHE WAS IN THE PLAY!!!!

a core 'race and diversity' class can be taken by anybody, theater major or not. she may be a tremendous theater prof, but definately not for a core class. She disrespects students, and grades harshly. Her quizzes are the hardest things ever, and her own study guides barely give ANY guidance to her tests. AVOID AT ALL COSTS if not a theater major!

Kimmika Williams is an inadequate professor. She does not care about or respect her students and it's crystal clear She gave a 200 word review sheets that was supposedly "all inclusive", yet none of the material was on the test. The average was very poor and it was a clear reflection of her teaching style and her complete disregard for her students

Can't remember the exact course number, but I remember it was an elective, as I wasn't a theatre major! Basically we had to read one play each week. We'd discuss it during one class meeting, and the next class, one student had to give a presentatation on the play, history, author info, themes, character analysis and then hold a Q&A. It was a lot of reading, but very, very worth it. Kimmika was especially great to me, the only class member who wasn't a theatre major. :-) Highly recommend.

you'll learn something, that's for sure. Only stipulation is, you have to want to learn something when you have her, otherwise you're just going to pull out your hair

Kimmika is doper than cream cheese. You get what you give with Kimmika. She's a great teacher, but she won't put up with Prima Donnas. And she can out-prima-donna ANYONE, ANY DAY. If you behave professionally and take the class seriously, she'll take you seriously and really help you develop as an artist/performer/writer. After leaving Kimmika's class with an A, she's often called me back to perform (for $$) and to be in shows that she's directing. Understand: Kimmika is an asset, and an amazing person.
