I'm very grateful that I had the chance to take a class with Andree while he still taught at UNM. He's a great instructor and one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

One thing that a good teacher has is passion for teaching and passion about what he teaches. Andree has both of those. The classes he teaches are not the easiest, but he is able to explain things in a very concise way, almost as if he knows exactly what you do not understand and then he explains it again to help you understand.

Andree is a wonderful teacher who really cares about the student's learning. He is always well prepared for class and has a great mixture of information and code during the lecture. His enthusiasm for the subject is very clear. I am very happy to have had him as a professor! Work hard in his class your grade/mind will show it! Glad he is at UNM! :)

Andree is without a doubt one of the best teachers I have ever had. His class has a fairly high difficulty level, but if you attend and ask questions, you'll do well. He genuinely cares about his students.

Andee is hard but more than fair. His goal is to make sure that you learn. It's not about the assignment but what you get out of it and that makes him an excellent instructor.

This class is difficult, but if you ask questions, do your homework, and go to lab, you'll be fine (what? Actually study? Phenomenal!). Andree will answer questions if you ask, and that's the best advice for any of his classes.

Excellent Teacher, Wonderful and Caring Person. If you have not taken an Andree class you are missing out on a very enjoyable and very intense class. Two thumbs up! :)

This class was extremely hard. Being a film major I entered this class with no prior experience which was not good. If you are an IFDM major the only time you get Python is second semester of the school year. I failed my first time and had to retake it the next semester and almost didnt pass because he did all the examples in Java.

Andree is a great guy, great professor, and funny guy. He teaches the classes fast but in a very logical and easy to lean way. He expects a lot from the students but he puts a lot into the class and teaching. Study for the tests. While he is a great teacher Andree?s test are some of the harder ones. TA Seth is dumb and unhelpful.

I love the class, it's a little difficult, but he has office hours to help with any problems students are having.

Andree is a great teacher. Does live programming in class so you can see what to do and what not to do. Always willing to see you during office hours and also answers emails quickly. Fair, Fun, Great Class :D

I have had Andree for 3 classes now and each one has made me love computer science even more. His projects are fun, he is brilliant and he always is willing to help. His tests are hard but not over something that you shouldn't know. All around wonderful teacher and person.

The best CS professor you WILL ever have at UNM. Exams are not a cake, but he is very helpful during office hours.

Andree is very passionate about Computer Science, and is always willing to help students during office hours or any time you drop by his office. Once he even helped me with Computer Science work for another class that he wasn't teaching.

I have taken both CS 241 and CS 251 from Andree, and I must say that he is one of the better teachers in the department. He taught clearly, and was always more than willing to explain anything both in and out of his office hours. The projects were fun, and he would take an entire class to cover an old test for practice.
