The only people that would not like this professor are those who are not familiar with the impact of imperialism on the Chicano community. He's honest and blunt. If at any point you have felt frustrated with the present social system he will make class a safe place where you can come in and just vent.

Furthermore, simply because Prof.Camacho is honest and innovative does not make him ignorant; it simply makes him DIFFERENT. Now, would this be an issue if he were white? There are so many professors here who do not teach real history, yet they are accepted. Get away from being closed-minded and learn to see things from different perspectives.

Those who speak without having knowledge of the Mexican culture should seriously sit back and be quiet. Rather than criticizing him and his "****" views, one should keep an open mind and see where he is coming from. If not, than do not even bother to take a culture class...you're just pretending to be interested.
