The only people that would not like this professor are those who are not familiar with the impact of imperialism on the Chicano community.He's honest and blunt.If at any point you have felt frustrated with the present social system he will make class a safe place where you can come in and just vent.

Furthermore, simply because Prof.Camacho is honest and innovative does not make him ignorant; it simply makes him DIFFERENT. Now, would this be an issue if he were white? There are so many professors here who do not teach real history, yet they are accepted. Get away from being closed-minded and learn to see things from different perspectives.

Those who speak without having knowledge of the Mexican culture should seriously sit back and be quiet. Rather than criticizing him and his "****" views, one should keep an open mind and see where he is coming from. If not, than do not even bother to take a culture class...you're just pretending to be interested.

He goes on these rants, but just show up..write what you think he wants to hear and you'll get an "A"....I didn't agree with a lot of what he said....He had us listen to George Lopez tapes...great..that really helped me understand my people a little bit better...NOT...don't worry he's easy just dont question what he believes or he'll chew you out..

This guy is an easy and interesting teacher.Yeah his test are easy but some info is interesting. He is always late so never stress about getting early. If you want an A then take this class.

He's a nice guy but has some racial overtones. No need to go to class. Tests are on common sense; you know it or you don't. When taking the tests go in with the approach that Anglo Saxons are wrong and you'll do well. If you talk to him outside of class or need any help...he'll gladly help you.

Basically spent the entire semester talking about Mexico when we are an American History class. Mentions facts but trails off to talk about his interpretation of history and his political and racial views. if you want an easy grade just show up to lecture or if you just to see a waste of students money take this class.

****, ****, ****. A phd should not give this guy the right to teach. He is sloppy, unorganized, and if you want to take lecture notes, good luck cause hes all over the place

Basically this class seems like his outlet for him to be rasicst. The class is a joke..he just likes to rant. I got a C in the class and had no idea why..never gave back any work. No guidance on any of the papers. Sometimes a in class paper would be canceled just because he wanted to talk instead of do an assimate after we had all prepared!!!
