I took this class at University of Dayton, not Sinclair but Dr. Obach is the man. He is very enthusiastic and made a boring topic interesting. He's the sweetest old man and always talks about his wife and softball. Class is easy if you read and pay attention. Very little tests and easier grader. Highly recommend him!

Don't take this Class if your are not catholic or Liberal because he tends to go off on big rants about his views. He also generates exams questions that can be true and false at the same time

PHIL204 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Obach strives to help students learn where our ideas have come from and why they continue to impact and influence us and our world. He wants students to interact intellectually with the classic texts, and learn how to think clearly for themselves.

DO NOT take his class if you are an atheist, unless you want to argue with him constanly or bite your tongue constantly. He's a strongly-opinionated theist. And while he appreciates other persepctives, he feels strongly about some of his irrational beliefs. Made us memorize word-for-word a Martin luther king quote-ridiculous for a philosophy class!

Ethic206 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Very Enthusiastic. Invested his interests in books and movies into lectures, although they were mostly irrelevant and lead to long, one-sided rambles. Invested his opinion into quizzes and exams too much. Class mostly consisted of guessing his jumbled thoughts and strong religious opinions rather than answering questions regarding the material.

Very judicious man. He's done everything. The material is hard to understand but he breaks it down so u can. A lot of quizes but it's mostly about the readings. He is overall a great professor and I reccomend him to all.

One of the best professors I've had. You have to respect his wealth of knowledge about life. The class isn't difficult and the final isn't bad at all! If you actually do what he wants you to do, you should be fine! People that complain about the material he assigns are usually the people who didn't do it...and it affected their grade.

Very interesting class. He makes us really change each others in conversations even when some get a bit defensive. He seems to be a great teacher but sometimes gets off track when students try to teach him. He allows the class to express their thoughts a little too much. Remember he is the teacher. u should give him the respect of his knowledge
