David Kellar is a cool teacher who cares about his students success. I would give him an A+ in every area but 2. 1) he regularly uses 4 resources for studying which is hard to juggle. 2) The study guides are helpful but not exactly like the test like he says they are. But still a teacher and class that I Recommend.

David is good at describing what's going on and giving a thorough explanation of the material. He's pretty good. Kind of a tough grader though... no mercy for a lost negative or unclosed parenthesis.

Great instructor. Always helps outside of class. He wants and sets his students up to succeed if you put forth the effort. The class can be fast paced. He expects you to show up and do your part outside of class. I beleive the previous disparaging comments are from people that werent prepared for college level algebra. I cant recommend him enough.

Very tough when it comes to grading. Good guy but class is ridiculous. I am also good at math that's the sad part.

Dave is a nice guy but expects you to figure some things out on your own. Only a selected amount of homework problems, reading assignments, ect are graded so if you get one problem wrong and it's one out of three that were selected, you get a bad grade one the assignment.

Keller is willing to look at your work not just the answer and will give partial or full credit if the answer is wrong b/c of something stupid like you multiplied wrong for tests and homework. He is tough but fair. He will show you how to do the work but expects you to practice at home on your own. good teacher. worth taking his class i have 2x's

He is the worst math teacher ive ever had. Doesnt cover much in class because he wants you to teach yourself from the book. He grades very harsh on an AP calculus scale with each problem being out of 3 points so if you mess up a sign your at 66% on that problem much less make a real mistake. makes you feel stupid if you ask for help at office hours

Unclean, not willing to help much. Review days are pointless b/c he doesn't answer questions or go over anything. One of the worst instructors I have ever had.

One of the worst math instructors I have ever had. If you don't grasp math easily this is not the teacher you want. Only answers about half of your question and skips steps when explaining problems. Goes way too fast and is not willing to work with students much outside office hours. If you have to take him get a tutor right away. You will need it.

I had taken the online version of this course. Even though I had never met him in person, he was very helpful with any questions I had. Whether I e-mailed him or called him, he was sure to help in anyway that he could. I would suggest him for any online math class!

Professor Keller was a welcome change from boring and condescenging math teachers. I have never had a math teacher who taught in such an efficient, practical way. I have always hated math and felt his class was the first time I actually understood WHY I was doing something, rather than just regurgitating formulas.

Overall, I liked him. Expects you to do your part and if he sees that he's very willing to help you. I hate math, but overall it was bearable and he uses good examples and has similar material on the tests. Not the easiest class but overall he is a good guy.

David Keller is one of the best instructors I've had. He uses real world situations to better help understand why we're in the class and it makes the class a lot of fun. Anyone reading this tshould definitely think about taking a math class with him.

David Keller is a good math professor. He gives you real life examples of problems instead of just teaching from the book. He lets you see where you can use this in your future job and why it is important.
