Trade was originally a lawyer, so I thought Mock Trial would have been interesting. Expects you to think like a lawyer right away with no prior knowledge and is very harsh to students who are struggling. Horrible curves makes my GPA drop like crazy and not very helpful to raise a grade. He even told me to drop due to missing one class from illness

BLAW10001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A

By trade, he is a lawyer, not academic. Therefore, his class is heavily based upon learning the relevant laws (where most profs stop) and APPLYING them. One tip: class participation (no matter how stupid your comment) can boost your grade by nearly 10%.

Great class learned a lot however, terrible professor. Sets you up for failure. If you miss one class lecture, you will automatically not get an A. No test questions come from text, just case studies book and lecture. Class is based on a curve, however an 80% is a C+ in his book. I now know why he was kicked out of the Business School.

POL1011 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Attendance isn't necessarily mandatory, but if you don't attend class, you're going to have a really hard time getting above a C. Go to class, and take lots of notes because nearly all the questions on the test are from his lecture. Very knowledgeable about the subject but his tests are difficult because some of the questions are opinion based.

He can be pretty rude at times and shows no mercy involving extra credit options. I passed this class solely by reading the book & taking in-depth notes because his lectures were all over the place & too hard to follow.

POLL 1011 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

He's a left wing professor who judges you on your political beliefs. His tests are difficult and there's usually more than one right answer for each question. If you take this class highly suggest reading the chapters before class, not during the time he's talking about them. I wouldn't recommend this professor to anyone. Just my opinion.

He is a really nice guy. Although attendance is not mandatory, he does use class participation as a grade component. He will call on you weekly and if your not there he takes note of it. The subject was kind of hard. I would still recommend him.

He contradicted himself seriously like 5 times when I went during his office hours. He's a nice guy and knows his stuff but I dont think he's meant to be a prof. Didn't even know what peer reviewing was! Ughhh He made me so frustrated.

Good Professor, test material comes directly from the textbook and lectures. You need to attend class to do well. Challenging exams but he is very clear and wants you to do well.
