Laughlin is a very informative man. He knows what he is talking about and is very opinionated. He gets students to think about why they believe the things they do. If you are a "hard core" religious person, you might not like him. But if you are up for a challenge, willing to open up your mind, and a good student you will learn A LOT! | ||

Gained a tremendous ammount of respect for this man! For believers this class might be difficult to handle bc he teaches strictly from a scholars point of view. He engages you to think critically about the bible and everyday life. I would reccomend this class to anyone who is up for a challenge and eye opening experience. | ||

Stubborn in his ways but provides intriguing and factual information about religions and "God". Will probably change your mind about how and what you believe in. Very difficult for an Intro/freshman level class. | ||

He is one of the most intelligent men I have ever met in my entire life! He faces religion in an academic way, which is exactly what he should be doing. His class was extremely hard but also very rewarding! Nothing but good things to say. PLUS...he looks like a skinny Santa Claus...cant go wrong there. | ||
