Professor Zanta is way too old to be teaching. Half of the problems he shows the class are not even done correctly and the class has to tell him how to do it. Other times he does half the problem and then moves on because he forgot what he was doing. I do not suggest this teacher to anyone especially if you like to be interactive in your class.

MAT129 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

a nice guy & will help you one on one if you need it but he seems to get confused a lot. he'll do problems on the board & end up messing it up somehow like changing a sign or just multiplying wrong. i've even seen mistakes in the answer keys of the packets he gives out. he gives out a lot of take home quizzes and review/study packets which is good.

MAT128 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

The guy knows what he's talking about. If you're struggling to comprehend a particular concept he will go over it with plenty of examples until you've grasped it.

MAT129 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

very nice guy. gives tons of helpful examples and 80% of the tests are take home along with extra credit. for every chapter he gives tons of packets with work and answer keys in the back. and most of the problems on the take home tests have the same problems as the chapter packets he gives you. my favorite math prof. so far :)

He is to old to be teaching. Not to sound mean but he went over the same problem 3 times and that is the day I dropped out of the class. I am good at algebra but the way he was put me to sleep. He was good with extra credit and seemed easy to pass. No homework but that was part of everything being boring.

If you pay attention and ask questions, he will explain the problem until you understand it. The pace is determined by the class understanding. If test scores are low, he will adjust the procedures of testing the next time, adding bonuses and allowing you to take it home.

math127 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

This course was only easy because I am fairly good at math and my Dad used to teach it. I never learned much IN class, had to do all my work at home. Boring as heck and isn't that nice. I did however, get an A because he gave a LOAD of extra credit.

Wonderful! Man gives 7 exams, one per chapter, with take home bonus questions for each! My average going into the final was 100+!! He takes his time, offers class time to work on problems and get help..he's great. Teaches full time at a middle school, so he really knows how to explain this stuff.
