chem101
very jumbled teacher. She was nice, but her methods of teaching had some of us left in confusion
CHEM102
She's an okay teacher but she is forgetful when it comes to the class material. There were instances where the class was teacher her because she couldn't remember how to do a certain thing.
CHEM102
Crawley is nice, but her course is confusing. I did a lot of self-teaching from the textbook, but still went to class to know what chapter we were currently on and hear the material gone over once. Her PowerPoints are useful study tools, they basically summarize the chapter. She must have a pretty generous curve.
Chem100
If you go to SI sessions and take extremely good notes, you will do fine. As of now I have an A in the class and haven't gotten under an 88 on a test. You just have to be organized and disciplined. Dr. Crawley is a lady with great intentions, but she isn't very clear in her lectures. Also, she hardly responds to your e-mails, so she's not reliable.
Chem100
She is a really nice person but she is too scattered and I don't understand anything she teaches. Ive made my way through the course by studying with others and reading the textbook. It helps that she drops 3 lowest quiz grades and only counts 5 of mastering chem

I was tricked into taking chem 100. Just take 101, seriously. Crawley is a nice enough lady, but totally scatterbrained and not a good teacher. If you end up with her, just read the chem book and come to the tests. She doesn't even grade the clicker questions, all the tests are curved, and she drops almost all of the homework grades.
Chem102
Would expalain something fully and then go back and say ohh wait thats backwards. worst professor ever.
Chem102
She is so easy and gives out alot of extra credit opportunities and curves the final exam wayy easier than the rest of the chem 102 teachers take her! but you have to teach yourself everything
CHEM102
I loved AP chemistry in high school, but this class made me hate the subject. Dr. Crawley is a very nice woman, but a very unorganized, slow-moving professor. It was difficult to summon the willpower to go to her lecture. I frequently left class feeling as if I learned nothing meaningful. We didn't even finish all the material for the final exam.
CHEM100
I understood chemistry so well before I came into her class for my first year. I don't recommend her as a professor, choose Polo. It was confusing and frustrating and her notes that she gives you are all over the place and that drove me crazy. Good luck to anyone who has her. & go to the SI sessions if you do end up with her!
chem102
Horrible professor; her lectures are confusing and poorly explained. Uses LONCAPA for HW, but half the time your answers won't work because her work is flawed. Tests are unbalanced with 40% of the points resting on 3-4 problems out of 30. Grades poorly but curves to counter it; I avg'd a C but ended up with an A. Simply do NOT take her for chem.
CHEM102
She tried to help our failing grades by giving us an incredeble amount of extra credit that were these hard worksheets that you had to find time when one of the resertation TAs were free and you were free to do them with them in the room. Stil failed.
Chem102
She gives supplementary methods to learn chem like online activities, loncapa homework, problem questions and so on because she doesn't really teach the material in class.
CHEM102
Going to class is basically useless - clicker questions are rarely given but worth 5% of your grade. Crawley is sweet and friendly but not a good professor - she is very confusing and her handwritten examples are impossible to follow. If you read your textbook, do all of the LON-CAPA homework, and study quizzes, you'll do fine. I did and got an A.
CHEM102
The worst professor I have ever had by far. She has no idea what she is talking about most of the time. Take chemistry with anyone but Crawley. She makes it 100X more confusing than it actually is. I would never, ever take another class with her. EVER
Chem102
Crawley is a nice person, but she isn't a teacher. Her tests are straight from the quizes so that helps. My best advice is to get the book and go to SI sessions. About half way through the semester she will start offering extra credit TAKE IT. You can end up with 100s on all quizes if do enough of it. She's not the best, but she' relatively easy.
Chem102
If you can't take Polo or Topich, then this is is better then your other options. She is frustrating in her lectures but the work it self is not hard. GET THE BOOK, it will be your saving grace. And the easiest way to pass is to go to at least one SI session a week. The TA's will get you through.
CHEM102
Her lectures are useless and boring for anyone who's decent at chem, and sometimes even incorrect. She stops using CPS after 2 weeks. Quizzes and group work are very simple. Exams require some prep, but even if you fail them you can still pull an A in this class. Take anyone else- this class is a waste of tuition.
Chem100
She's not as bad as people say. Her class is really easy if you listen and take notes (she can be boring though). She tries her best to be clear and explain everything but sometimes she gets a little confused herself and ends up confusing the whole class. But she does care about her students and she is fairly helpful.
