Very understanding and kind and hard working. Gives mostly "A"s if you show up and participate and care! She really cares about students.

This individual is the department chair. Do not trust her to give you proper advisement. Once you start your coursework you may find that you were poorly informed. It's a shame to waste the time and money.

She is very blunt and upfront about what you need to do to improve, which every musician and performer should appreciate. If you practice and try, this class will be enjoyable.
