STAT 415 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

He is very slow to respond to posted questions/emails. The responses are invariably rude and abrupt.

Stat 200 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Roths doesnt make things harder than they need to be. Don't buy textbook, haven't opened it all semester (its confusing to read). You get a cheat sheet for every test. Class graded on 3 mid terms, 1 final, small project, and lab quizzes. Not a very difficult class but you should attend lecture to avoid feeling lost, especially at the end

STAT 200 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A

Easy class. Never took it in high school, but the material starts off easy, and then only gets slightly harder. Labs are really easy, and he drops your lowest 4/27. Exams you get a note sheet, which makes them a joke since you can fit everything you learned on them and just follow the steps to get the exam questions right

STAT200 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Best Stat teacher in Penn State! Take him! Stat200 is not an easy subject to learn, however Scott is the best at Penn State to teach it. Make sure to go to class and write down all the notes. They are very well organized!

STAT 200 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: B

The lectures are very boring but he hand writes the notes on the projector during class so everyone can follow. Some of the labs are hard but he drops a few. The first exam is really easy and the next two are challenging. Make sure you understand the material before taking the exams. This class was easy for some people but harder for others.

STAT 200 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: A

Lectures are so boring that everybody's yawning. He writes down everything he has to say on projector. He is patient with questions. You can finish labs at home. Overall it's an easy class.

STAT 200 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

He knows his material really well. He gives REALLY GOOD notes and gives examples after every topic. You can have a cheat sheet in his class. I honestly thought this class was going to be hard because I heard bad things about it, but he definitely made it easy. Take stat 200 with him!! :) Oh and I barely used the textbook. He posts slides online!

Scott is a good professor for Statistics. He explains many of the concepts well in class and is also approachable for office hours. The stats is tough and so be prepared to spend some time on your own looking through the material and I encourage meeting with him as soon as you don't understand something, but I liked his class.

Scott Roths teaches stat in the most simplistic way. He provides great notes that clearly explains the material (make sure you go to lecture.) The tests are similar to the lab quizzes. Also, He allows you to have a cheat sheet. The lab quizzes and the project (easy 100) boost your grade a lot. Take Stat with him and you'll easily understand it.
