Took Eng 102 online with him. It was very challenging class. He is a tough professor but if you do the work and communicate regularly with him you will survive. He stives to make you a better writer. You may not like his methods or his snarky attitude at times, but you will improve because of it.

He doesn't even know what he speaks. He is a super coufusing "thing". I hate "it". Who let this "thing" be a teacher?!

he's a awesome teacher. though i think he's a litte bit cold at first, he's still very funny. he doesn't take attendance, fix your work carefully, and he doesn't require much. my friends told me ENGL101 require writing a lots but I just write about 1.5 to 3 page in his class..so awesome.and remember to go to class frequently to understand the work

Charles Malody is hidden treasure. He is my all time favorite English teacher. This man is brilliant, and I loved his lectures and everything about the way he RE-teaches you ENGLISH. He is charismatic and elegant. He has a big heart, but by all means he is there to teach you the foundations and HOW TO write the perfect essay. I will miss him truly!

Malody is an excellent prof. He has one goal for his students, and that is to make them better writers. If you communicate with him, you will truly walk away a better writer. Tough love is his credo, but let me tell you, it works.

The first day of class, he wore a shirt that said "I see dumb people." His emails weren't clear, his instructions for homework were vague...he makes a basic class a nightmare to deal with. Good points: if you show a genuine interest, he appreciates it and isn't a total jerk to you. Take the class with someone else, he's too high maintenance.

Malody has a unique teaching style that will not work for everyone. That being said, he not only improved my writing, but challenged the class to think outside the box. Not only when concerning the topics in class, but also when looking at the world around you. Look forward to lots of helpful feedback and interesting topics. Come with an open mind

The man is brilliant! His honest assessment of your work can sometimes be difficult to take. But if you want to learn how to write more effectively and don't mind working hard, you won't be disappointed. If you need to be babysat, don't take this class.

I will never recommend anyone to take his class he is soo booring, we didn't learn anything. He really ruined my plan to the point i drop the class, and received W. I hate him soo much. Dont take his class.

Horrible teacher! Learned nothing at all in his class. Be prepared for many headaches. Avoid at all costs!

English has been my favorite subject - this man almost ruined my love for the written word. I learned only one thing from this class - Research your professor before joining a class. The man was opinionated, rude, unclear in his assignments when he bothered to tell us what they were and definitely had favorite students - usually the troublemakers

I'm actually an aspiring writer and all this guy did was insult me and discourage me. Didn't teach me anything. Honestly, he can't really be called a teacher. Just a selfish, arrogant jerk who looks down on students and collects their tuition money.

This is one of the very worst teachers I have encountered. He barely teaches anything. He insults on the students on a regular basis. Didn't show up for class multiple times. When he grades your homeworks and paper he just bickers and doesn't even use proper spelling and grammar. A very pathetic joke that cannot be called a teacher. STAY AWAY!

omg!!!!!! if i knew all these, i would never take this class, he is awfulllllll i mean awfulllll. he is not good at all. if you want a zero or incomplet, take hime. he is not even worth teaching. he is useless, seriously, students are not learning anything but ruthless things, he is such a harmful teacher who can destroy your life!!!! stay away!

I am a native English speaker and think that this English course is abnormal. No text book used, all the materials are base on weird ancient pictures, painting n poetry! Total 4essays and every weekends submittal assignments. He didn't take attendance but if you miss a few classes you would not be able to catch up.

Omfg, I am so regret that I registered for his class!! His class even doesn't require a textbook. I wouldnt take his class ever never!
