Adorable old English dude. He's interesting and the class is super chill. Attendance isn't mandatory, but it's fun to go. No tests or quizzes, just papers and a final oral presentation and paper. He makes the class super interesting. Take him!

This class was so much fun! He made it interesting (mostly because of his British quirks). The homework was ok, and the tests were VERY similar to the homework problems! I finished the comprehensive final in 30 minutes and made a perfect score on it. Again, it was just like the old tests. Easy class, learned a lot.

Easy class. Attendance wasn't mandatory. If you have already taken calc 1 i would recommend because you don't need to go to class. little worried on if it prepared me at all for calc 2 though

Take this professor. Attendance is not mandatory, and you can make a good grade without attending. Takes test problems directly from the homework, and usually it is only the easier problems. Very nice and helpful teacher, gives lots of partial credit, and minimal HW. TAKE THIS CLASS

He is a math wiz! He explains everything well and is willing to help if needed. He gives homework on a weekly basis, and his tests are always short (<10 questions) and to the point. Awesome prof.

Dr. Thistlethwaite gives fair test as long as you do the homework and study to learn the concepts you will do fine in the class. He teaches at a fairly slow tempo. Morwen's method however seems to be irregular as he usually skips steps but does ensure everyone understands the material

Dr. Thistlethwaite knows his stuff, that's for sure. Calc II is not the easiest subject, but he does a good job of explaining the more difficult topics. The tests aren't too bad as long as you prepare, and the homework is given weekly. Overall, it comes down to you wanting to learn to material if you want to get a good grade.

Take him for any class that you can. Presents material in an engaging way, gives reasonable homework and tests. He is brilliant.

This guy is very intelligent. Best teacher I've ever had. I highly recommend him. He is very helpful and makes learning Calc II easy. Homework is assigned weekly and tests are fairly simple. Attendance is not mandatory, but I find it very helpful.

He's a really smart guy, and he makes sure his students know the material that they are tested over. I would definitely take him again given the chance.

MUST TAKE!!! Math 300 isn't too hard to wrap your mind around but morwen makes it really easy. tests are very easy, homework is somewhat difficult but no indication on how the tests are

This is the second time I've had this professor, and it was again a great experience. He's willing to reply to emails, even in the middle of the night, and will always lend a hand. He's extremely intelligent, and he will even curve grades if he feels the person gave their best effort. Again, I highly recommend him.

An absolute genious and the most entertaining math professor I have ever had (as a Math major). If you show an interest this man will go to any lengths (even replying to e-mails in the middle of the night) to help you. His dry British wit is really fun. Favorite professor of all time.

Amazing professor who knows how to answer virtually anything a student asks. He's extremely clear and knowledgeable, but most importantly he cares about what his students learn. He also has a nice British accent, which manages to convince you of virtually anything he says. Smart guy, and smart choice for a professor.
