PHYS2070 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

If it weren't for this guy, I would have FAILED this class! He went WAY out of his way to help. Spent time in evenings and even on weekends to help me. He even skipped meals to help his students. This is a hard class, and he really takes his students seriously. But go to class and office hours if you want to do well.

PHYS2070 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Good "in class teaching" but bad "out of class" help, especially when it came to corrections. Little to no partial credit because he doesn't grade his own tests. In addition, expects that you know above and beyond the concepts just to pass a quiz, and it gets harder on tests. The material itself was interesting though. Not recommended.

He was a pretty rad teacher. He taught the material in an engaging and interesting way. Tests were hard if you didn't know the material completely. Definitely go to his "office hours" (cookie hour), he goes through just about every homework problem and explains concepts and questions. You want this guy as your prof.

This class definitely was a challenge for me. Famiano was a good professor he really knew his stuff, physics is just a hard class. If you want to be sure to pass this class, do all the homework, reading assignments, online quizzes, and do the quiz corrections. If you do all of this you will do just fine. GOOD LUCK!

PHYS2050 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Does not explain topics well and wastes time in class when he could be explaining examples further. His tests and quizzes are ridiculously hard. Class average on tests below 50 percent.

He is an exceptional teacher. He explains all concepts clearly and in depth. Also, he has a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend him.

Great, great teacher. I am a third year student pursuing an engineering degree at WMU, and Famiano is, at this point, the best professor I've had. By a large margin. He clearly cares about the performance of his students, and with that concern comes an exemplary performance from himself. Can't say enough, really. Highly recommended.
