Attendance Is Mandatory!!!! I got a 0 for my attendance, but I passed the class just fine. She is very helpful, but expects you to be speaking spanish by this class. 4 quizzes, 3 tests, 2 speaking activities, 2 in class compositions, lab work, and an exit interview (the comps are the hardest thing). Should be able to pull at least a B.

Excellent professor! Very knowledgeable,experienced and helpful. It was my first time taking Spanish and the class was very difficult for me but she was always willing to help. Great professor!

This is one of the easiest classes I've taken. It's almost impossible to not get an A. She's extremely nice and doesn't give too much work. She grades really leniently. Sometimes she had trouble with English and was a little hard to understand but she's a great teacher.

She is an awesome teacher. There were times that we had to explain some things in english because it was never used in spanish. She is pretty good about work that needs to be done. If you miss her class BRING AN EXCUSE. If you miss an exam, quiz, homework, or speaking activity she won't let you make it up unless you have.

I LOVE HER! I took spanish before, but those teachers don't compare. she's so clear and helped me understand why the language is the way it is, not just say it is just because it is! it made me want to minor in spanish. she's so nice and easy and i learned a lot. she's really funny and understanding as well. make sure you aren't absent!

Take Profesora Aviles! She is amazing. She's so nice and funny. Her class is also extremely easy. You will have to write a couple of papers and do some oral presentations, but she's very helpful. She also tells you exactly what is on the tests the day before you take them!

Sra Aviles is a great teacher. She is easy to talk to and grades easy. If you go to class, you will be fine. She does keep track of who is in class or not. I took her for Spn 1 & 2 and got A's.

Senora Aviles is one of the best teachers at UNF. She is very understanding and helpful. She makes the class interesting and fun. Not a lot of homework... just a worksheet every now and then. Group presentations often, but are small and fun to do.

Profesora Aviles is FANTASTIC! I signed up for Beg. Spn I only because I knew spanish would be helpful when I graduate- she made it fun! She is engaging and helpful, always positive and making jokes; she loves teaching and wants her students to do well. Don't miss class, read the book and do the wkbk and you will be fine. The skits are fun, too! :D

Required class for graduation. She made it clear, concise and fun. She is one of the best professors I had at UNF. I highly recommend her classes. If you have a hard time with spanish, take her class. She will take the time to explain any questions you have and work with you after class also.

Teaches fast but effective. Test are easy if you study because study guides is dead on. Each new skill is explained well. She is very helpful and is concerned if you are learning. If you will work and ask, she will make you succeed.
