This is an excellent professor who cares about his students. He wants everyone to succeed in the subject. He explains all of the concepts very well, and he is clear about what he wants from the students. His exams are graded out of 100 points, but you have the opportunity to get over 100 points on every exam.

My favorite math professor. Very encouraging teacher. If he senses someone feeling negative about the course he will give the whole class a pep talk. He mixes philosophy and mathematics every chance he gets. His style would fit in at any ivy league school. CSUS is lucky to have him.

He's a bit tougher than the other math profs i had. he actually wants you to UNDERSTAND the math and not just ho to do it.. lol. He throws in a conceptual question in all of his exams and most quizzes. He answers any math questions you have. he makes errors at times, but usually catches them.

Prajs is a consistent and caring professor who means well and is more available for outside assistance than may appear. If you read ahead, his lectures will make sense and you will gain the deeper understanding he pushes. Great experience overall from a consistent and lenient professor. He accounts for small errors in grading curve.

Great Professor! He lectures from his own notes, and tries his best to explain problems; cares for your understanding of subject. In beginning I thought I will have a problem with following his accent but it turned out to be easy. It is funny how he may say jokes and smile/stare at everyone making awkward silent moments. One of the best Prof I had.

This professor is terrible. He doesn't know how to do the homework he assigns and does not try to help students learn the material. He is extremely condescending if a student answers a question wrong. I will never take him again.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! he is unhelpful and rude. he laughed at a girls question for literally 5 minutes while "answering" her it. if you make a mistake in your algebra he calls it naive algebra rather than just saying you made mistake here and he makes the same types of mistakes many times every class period.he awkwardly stares with a crepy smile A LOT!!

Differential equations: he can clearly teach the subject and wants to ensure that you understand it. plan to visit him during office hours if you need more one-on-one help. Has an accent, but not it's not incomprehensible. Attendance counts in final grade. Random quizzes and homework collection.

It's pretty simple, if you take this class and take it serious you will learn. That being said it isn't easy especially if you are not a math person. I had to work really hard all semester to pass but it was worth it and he is a very understand professor especially in office hours. Take advantage of that-most professors don't care.

I was worried going into this class because I had not taken a math class for almost 4 years. He made it really easy to follow his lectures, I loved the way he set them up... and I actually didn't mind going. If you have a class across campus right after you will probably be late, he always runs a little bit over.

I didn't find his accent difficult to understand at all. I thought he was a great teacher. The class material was very difficult, but his tests were not (assuming you did the homework), and there were many "A" grades. He was very helpful and really cared about his students succeeding. I would've liked to see more examples though.

I disagree with most of the comments here,I know you cant blame a professor for your success but they do have a huge part in you learning the subject and this professor can know all the math in the world but cant teach it affectively. As a college student i think he is a professor thats hard to understand, has a accent,& wont answer your questions.

On exams he gives you extra credit for writing neatly. If you do good on all 3 exams (B average), you dont have to take the final.

His accent really does affect the way he teaches but as a REAL college student, dont make excuses and badmouth him. He deserves alot more respect than what he gets from immature students. Education is a challenge. That means: dont expect professors to be perfect and dont expect classes to be easy. He grades fairly on exams and gives u extra credit

I have to disagree with these people. I have him right now, he might be a genius in the subject but that doesn't mean he can teach. His test are hard only because of the steps you have to show, and he doesn't let you use anything for the test so memorize the formulas and you'll ace the test. Hw is stupid, he assigns problems in the book that we don

Excellent instructor. He is a bit hard to understand sometimes because he has a thick accent, but he is very helpful and encourages questions in class and outside of class.

Probably one of the most brilliant instructors I have ever taken a class from. You can tell he really loves to teach this subject. Many of the students do not like him but I think that people allow themselves to get hung up too easily on accents. Instructor handeled it well when several graduate students whined to him about the workload.
