I took him online over the summer. His class was great. It was interesting and not that hard. The book is very small, you could read it in one or two days. He seamed as an intelligent professor who knew what he was talking about. You have to go over the material well for the mid term and the final was a breeze.

I took his class online during summer session 1. Overall, it was a breeze. As long as you read his powerpoint lectures thoroughly, you will do great on the online quizzes. The discussions are easy as well and as long as you do all the required posts and put some thought into it, you will get full credit. Highly recommend this teacher!

I took this class with another person and it was sooo much work we both dropped it. Over spring break alone we had 4 projects to work on, including a group project (which sucked because it was an online course.) Class was okay, but far much more work than any other class I have taken. One thing I liked were his PowerPoint lectures that were audio.

For a summer session class, this one was awesome. I dig the rapport Prof Jenkins created with the class. There was this really annoying, oppositional post-teen in class, and while others wished she would just shut up, Prof Jenkins diplomatically 'handled' that situation. "Well Played Sir" All in all i would say the class and the Prof are awesome.

Pay attention in class and take notes. As long as your test answers go by what was discussed in class, you'll do really well. And to prepare yourself, be sure to pick up on little hints like "you should probably go home and read the essay on Ewe Steinhoff (sp?)" because knowing that material well can really boost your confidence in tests.

Dan is a great professor who expects his students to participate in the class dialogue. The class was helpful because of its usefulness as a tool to guide one through ethical dilemmas. I highly recommend Dan as a professor because he is straight forward and answers all questions relevant to the course. Dan is a funny guy but a better educator.

Being a Senior in High School , I found the course really easy . If you took good notes , and read over them you would do okay . Overall the class was pretty good , very informative . The test were kind of hard but nothing too demanding or troublesome . Dan was really funny , and made the class a little more interesting .

The class was easy if you pay attention and take lots of notes. You don't have to read the book! He has a really monotone voice which makes the class boring. If you fall asleep you are counted as absent so you have to try and stay awake. Overall the class is easy and pretty interesting!

He does not give any multiple choice questions on the homework or exams; but if you read all the information and do all the modules you will be fine. Out of the 1000 possible points in the class I earned 999. I took the class online. He uses real life examples to illustrate the theories so the students can better understand them.

Dan Jenkins is the best professor you will ever have. He LOVES philosophy, and he understands it so well that he has the perfect analogy for everything he teaches so you will understand it so well. Not to mention his good looks, he has a great beard. He is a sexier Seth Rogen

He is an awesome, handsome man, who really is a great teacher. he is cool, funny, and very knowledgeable. he is also very lax, but not in a lazy or bad way. just a really down to earth guy who understands that people have trouble sometimes, but he is there to compromise and help you get your work done right. really a classy guy, so take his class.

Mr. Jenkis is such a great teacher. I'm currently taking a summer minimester with him. He lets out out early often, really helps us understand the topic. And he isn't too bad to look at :)

He will tell u about how he asked the Actress who played Rouge in the Xmen out on the 1st day of class. Nice and funny I think it was just the people in that class that made him appear dull. No essays. The main problem is his tests because there's too many ?s within ?s and he doesn't give u enough time to finish it! All hand written answers!

Awesome professor. He presents really complicated concepts in a way that's easy to understand. He knows how to moderate a debate and if you have an opinion you will be heard. If you happen to be dumb then by the end of his class you'll be a lot smarter. Also he is pretty funny and I'd take another one of his courses.

Dan is a really great teacher if you aren't an idiot. He's really great at making the material relatable for the students. If you don't go to all the classes you will not do well on the tests. I never used the text once and got an a.
