Very interesting prof to work with. If you're proud of anything you design, you'll butt heads with him, but it pays off in the end. Certainly walked out of 202 having learned more about engineering in practice than in theory. Would highly recommend for comprehensive/project courses, but not for academic ones.

He is not very organized at all and he doesnt finish the point that he tries to make, he is always angry, his exams are very very very tricky (to the point where u would say i dont need to study because he is going to trick me) hard, ... basically try to avoid taking any course with him.

Awesome prof. Is very interested in all the material he teaches. Is very straight forward, no B.S. here.

very good prof, he makes the class very interesting! he enjoy teaching and his class is always full! eece253 itself isn't a hard course, only 2 credits. this prof used to be on in a tv program, you can see the videos on his course website. Dr.linare is the best prof. Leos is good too, but i linare only teaches 251

Seems like he is learning the material as he is teaching it. Unorganized notes and random thoughts confuse the lectures forcing students to learn through the textbook and TA.

He's a little bit of a loose cannon - as in, he flies off the handle sometimes. I'm kind of scared of him to tell you the truth. One minute, he's going along, seeming to be completely enjoying himself, then a cell phone goes off, and he loses it completely - it's called ANGER MANAGEMENT.

You better take this coure with linares if you can. I mean he is not bad professor, he knows a lot, and I did learn, however his exams are tricky and he goes way too fast during lectures. I think he is OK but if you can avoid him, do it. I did pass his course and wont see him again. However, He surely knows his stuff. He is kinda nice fella thou...
