He changed it up this semester for us, he gave us 1 exam (fairly easy if you study) with matching answers and an essay response, the 2nd and 3rd exams were easy essays (1-2pgs long if you wanted). Never bought a text book and made an A in the class. Overall, decent class, take notes to stay awake though.

Dr Kirk is amazing, the best teacher ever at Collin, if you wanna get an A just take him. He grades easy, he gave 8 responses paper (1-2 pages) just your opinion and you got 5/5 for each paper, a research paper (6-10 pages), no exams, no quizzes,but your presence is mandatory cause it counts 30% of your final grade...

Dr. Kirk is a great guy. This is the easiest class I have taken at Collin College. 8 response papers due every so often. It's just your opinion so if you do the work, you will get an A. smart to come to class, b/c he throws in some in class projects into the mix (all u do is take notes and he gives you a 100) SOOO EASY but incredibly boring.

Easy class, very nice and teaches well, attendance mandatory, had interesting conversations with him and would consider him my favorite professor. No tests, just response papers, which is really the best way a student can learn. You can avoid the book if you look up the passages online. I wish he taught other philosophy classes.

The class is extremely easy. 8 response papers which you get credit for doing it with your opinion. No right or wrong answers! One term paper. Super easy! Must attend, but be ready to be bored. Easy A.

he is great he make this class interesting. it is an east A if you just turn in your work. i dont think that he even reads the weekly response (paper 1-2 pages) just gives every one a 5 out of 5. very easy teacher, if you want to make an A TAKE HIM.

he is the nicest guy ever. If you attend class and turn in your papers you will get an A. I know 4 people who took him and they all made A's.

Uses the entire class period. You won't be getting out early and attendance is pretty much mandatory. You take notes every class period which are turned in for a grade and also used to mark whether or not absent. Its nice not having homework really. 8 response papers due throughout semester. Need to be 2-3 pgs and term paper, no tests.

Class discussions are interesting for the first 20-30 min but after that its such a booooring class. There are only 5 papers, 2 quizes, and 1 final paper. No exams. He grades easy if it seems like you put thought in your papers. Pretty easy A if you turn everything in. He also does understand when emergencies come up. Overall Im happy I took him= A

Very easy class. Prof knows what he is teaching. No test. Notes have to be turned in at end of class for grade. Term paper, and 8 short papers on readings. Easy A, and youll learn. If you dont have much interest in subject just do the work and youll pass.

BEST TEACHER EVER!!He understands if you have life outside of class. He wont usually count off for papers that are a day late. He is VERY VERY sweet and grades so easy, but you do have to apply yourself! I am not going to lie he did make me fall asleep a few times but for the most part if you dont take him your stupid!He is a REALLY good teacher!

Great professor, had him for comp. religion! There are 8 responce papers through the semester which are like 1-2 pages and if you have a brain and can put your thoughts and opinions into an essay, then they're no problem at all. No final, a 6-10 page term paper. Class discussions are interesting too, gives you things to really think about.

Very sweet guy! his class was not really interesting but he is so nice and understands that people have lives outside of college. He assigns like 8 short responce papers that are at least a page+1/2 but they are over interesting topics and then there is a term paper that is so easy and interesting but it is 6-10 pages long.Kinda a pain!! TAKE HIM!!

This guy was very sweet! I was interested in most of his classes but idk if it was the room or bc i had his class at the end of the day but towards the end of the this semester i have been really bored in that class. He does not have a final except for a paper which is really easy to do which counts as your final, we never had tests

Great professor, probably the best I've had. Some classes can be boring, but the class gets involved and its fun. Not a lot of homework. response paper about a page and a half. on a topic about the reading. but the readings are easy and you don't even need to read. Very funny and its a great class to know more about the world and philosophy. Easy A

Really sweet guy, quiet, open to others' ideas. Alot of class discussions, two quizzes that are over what we talk about, and interesting short papers over reading material. It is not difficult to get an A. I liked going to class and it made me reflect on my own life. Once again, really sweet man.
