soc1002 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

He is a very easy professor, bright, and even though he's of old age he's a kind gentleman who sincerely loves his profession. A breeze in his class, just pay attention, discuss, and be firm with what you say. He will respect you if you do the same.

he is a terrible professor. he picks and chooses who he wants to pass. if he doesnt like you, you will fail. he is by far the RUDEST prof ive ever had at temple. also he is very UNCLEAR and doesnt communicate with the class at all. AVOID HIM AT ALL COST

SW1001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Your grade relies mostly on his opinion of you. He doesn't teach as much as he just gives you focus questions to help you teach yourself out of the textbooks. He has surprisingly poor communication and verbal comprehension skills for a social worker, as you'll surely find out by discussing things with him in class. Easy enough class, though.

SW050 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Very easy! he's kind of intimidating sometimes and doesnt always like if you disagree w/him. he gives out possible exam questions ahead of time and 5 or 10 out of those will be on the exam. If you know the answers&questions you will get A's on exams. Never even gave a final exam, gave a really easy group project instead.

SW050 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

He is the easiest professor to teach social work. He gives you all 20-25 test questions beforehand, then selects 10 to test you on, but he breaks up the test between 2 days = 5 questions each test day.

SW50 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Overall, his teaching skills were lacking a certain spark. I think I heard crickets more than student voices in the room. He also lack communication skills with people that does not fit in his mold. He does pick favorites among the female population too. Trust me. You will either fall asleep or hide in the back of the class to text you buddies.

SocW050 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

His class was fairly interesting and at first I thought I would do poorly in his class b/c of our difference of opinions. However, he seemed only intriged by my views and beliefs. He was a little hard to comprehend (as far as what it was he was looking for as an answer). All said, his class was fairly interesting.

SW150 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

I loved Mr. Engram. I had a lot of respect for him. He talked alot about his experiences which I thought was interesting. If you read the book and he knows your doing the work he will give you and A. I had him two semesters in a row and would take him again. Either you love him or hate him.

socwo50 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

has a ton of experience doing everything involving social work. he is constantly stressing how much you need the text book, but i never bought it and still got an A in the class. he's a little all over the place but i liked him. i learned a ton, and it wasn't just from him but from the many 'field trips'

SW51 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

I had Professor Engram for intro to soc work and sw51 and consider him one my favorite professors. He is an easy grader, but found out through other people if you have a disagreement with him he will be unfair. I had a number of discussions with him outside of class and found it very useful and interesting.. he is understanding if you talk to him
