His class is good because he has a passion for the subject and it shows. He is amiable and has a good sense of humor. His coursework is not too much but engages you in the subject.

ANT207 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Where should I start? He's a nice guy, smart, but he seriously needs to learn to use spell check, needs to work on his use of grammar, should proof read his tests more, he also needs to stop using run-on sentances in his hand outs, as well as fragmented sentences, it makes it hard to understand him. He gives 5 tests per semester & a ton of reading.

Great class & instructor. I was selling my book from last year and got thinking about how much I disliked the text. Long winded text had long run on sentances that looked like paragraphs. Sounded too much like the writers were trying to sound smart. There is a difference between intellectual writting & this rambling text book. Read the study guide!

It is a great class very interesting. The text book is thick and there is a ton of reading and a lot of material to cover. His lectures are enjoyable and he is an aproachable person to speak to. Just "go to class" and "Do your reading" and you will do fine. Don't procrastinate on reading!!! A class that offers what it promises.

Easy going, friendly, smart, helpful, good to talk to, smart, and makes a very hard course easier to digest. I enjoyed his class and would take more with him.

Best professor I've had at UMaine. I hope he stays on for a long time, so others can take classes with him. The professor invests so much energy into making sure his students succeed. His tests are fair and his grading system really allows you to decide your grade nased on the effort you put into the course.

One of the best professors I have ever had. His lectures are clear and interesting. He knows the subject he is teaching better than most instructors you will ever have.
