Had Dr. Vlahos for several Philosophy classes plus a Sociology course. He is a great professor - leads good discussions and you learn a great deal from his courses. His tests are detailed. He gives open note tests so take good notes. Definately recommend him as a teacher.

Dr. Vlahos will always be a professor I remember fondly. I don't think I'll find many like him; it's rare to find a human being so interested in helping others, and one so pleasant to be around.

PH316 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

You need to take his philosophy classes (he's an adjunct) if you want to do well. He leads good discussions and gives two tests. Each of them are OPEN BOOK too! If that isn't good enough, he gives you in-depth study guides.
