Favorite professor ever. I've had him for two classes and have him again next semester. He doesn't teach english classes but really appreciates when students know how to write a good essay. I wish I had him for all my classes.

Amazing prof. Humor is a little dry and he repeats himself alot. Gives few to no assignments and is very clear on what is on tests and quizzes. Practically gives the answers beforehand. Nothing should be a surprise if you take this class.

He's awesome! I took him for a summer online class. He doesn't ask for much, a couple discussion boards, two quizzes, a paper (easy & your choice of a country), the midterm, and the final. He is very funny, and keeps things interesting and useful. Can't wait to have him again in the Fall!

The greatest professor at Millersville, hands down! He is very knowledgeable and always available and open for discussions in and out of class. Take at least one class from him and remember to just relax and enjoy his lectures, dont be so uptight and American! haha

Dr. Shanahan is a wonderful professor. He's very straightforward and passionate about his work. The online class was super easy (I did all the readings and assignments) and the readings were very interesting. I look forward to taking a class with him again this next semester.

Took him for Geography of Europe over the summer and he is a good professor. 2 quizzes, two tests, forum posting and paper on a region in Europe. I recommend him.

Great Professor! Not for those who are easily offended. I have taken three classes with him and wish I could take more. Very easy to talk to and will meet with you for anything at all. Never a dull moment in his class. Do the readings and the work he assigns an you;ll be golden. If you get a chance...take his "London" class. By far the best!

Usually spend the entire class laughing. Made a 3 hour night class fly by, it was actually my favorite class- I looked forward to it all week! Hilarious man! You shouldn't take him if you are easily offended. Passionate about subject and makes material easy to understand. Love this guy! "It's all gone pear shaped, ladies and gentlemen."

My favorite professor EVER!!! You should not graduate from MU until you have taken a class with this guy! Absolutely wonderful and hilarious man, SO GREAT, and I got an A.

this guy is a trip. I found myself laughing out loud every day in his class. and i wasn't the only one. he's a brilliant man. don't ever show up late though. also, don't ever try to go to the bathroom during his lecture.

This was an online class over summer and it was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken. He emails you several times a week to keep you on track, and the work load is EXTREMELY light. The tests and quizzes were very straight forward. Overall, very easy class, and helpful professor. Highly recommended!

I had him for an online course, so there was very little interaction. The course was light in work but enjoyable. His good sense of humor was present even though the course was online. Overall, a very enjoyable online course.

Took evening class, great professor who defn makes 3 hours go by in what seems like half the time. He speaks his mind, which is too hard for some students to handle, but tolerated easily by most, even enjoyed by many! Be sure to not turn in papers late or even arrive in class late, seems to be his biggest annoyance

Nicely put together class - easy to follow tests can be difficult but turn up to clas and you should be ok

Great professor. Super funny. Extra great because he will call out the annoying students and the know it alls and crush them which is totally hilarious. Class is balanced. Be prepared to give some effort, but not all that hard.
