COMM289 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Piece of cake class, just meant to help you look for jobs and internships. You create a resume and online portfolio and go to the ADC a few times and some networking events. Met every Friday, has a simple lecture and gives out candy for "success stories". You'll enjoy the class more if you actually look for jobs and internships so try it out.

Brother Warnick is great. He has a ton of knowledge in this field. He's the kind of professor you'll want to know as you prepare for life after graduation, he knows everyone. He does lecture a lot, but I didn't really mind that. As long as you keep up on projects, you'll get an A.

COMM 289 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: A+

This class is pretty much a waste of time, but if you just do the work you'll get an A. Bro. Warnick isn't my favorite, he likes to hear himself talk. He is pretty confident that his opinion is the only right opinion and tends to make rude comments to students who think differently than him.

COMM 289 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

This class was easy. Just do your work on time and you'll get an A. Only meets once a week so your have to think ahead. Useful projects but class time felt like rambling and wasted. You read one book just don't do it last minute!good networking too!

Bro. Warnick is very enthusiastic about Mass Media. He always showed up recent news stories and advances in technology. His class helped me focus more on what is happening in society right now. His projects are easy and he is very helpful.

Extremely easy class. He monologues for most of it and emphasizes Linkedin. Has really good insights and wants students to do well, for sure; but it's hard for me to take him seriously due to the long-winded speeches. Nice guy, though.

Comm 289 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

What can I say about Brother Warnick? He LOVES LinkedIn. I'd suggest getting an account before taking the class just to be ahead of the game and make him wet his pants. Classes were boring, but workload was reasonable. He wants people to be successful. Good for him.

Very boring. Class "discussions" are stories and slideshow pictures about his recent travels and his connections on LinkedIn. Should an online class. Wait to take it as there's rumors that it may switch.

You'd think by the way he teaches that he'd be an easy grader, don't be fooled he has high expectations for his students! He is very passionate about what he teaches which is great, isn't very interesting though.
