THIS CLASS WAS HORRIBLE. HIS EXAMS DIDNT GO ALONG WITH THE HOMEWORK OR LESSONS, HIS OUTLINE WAS USELESS, AND HE NEVER ANSWERED EMAILS. THE COURSE WAS VERY DEMANDING!! I WOULD RECCOMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSTRUCTOR.

Took the online course. He often replies with 1 word emails, so don't waste your time writing long messages. He can be pretty friendly and helpful in person though.His exam study guides follow the tests almost exactly, so practice them and you'll do well. I found the book hard to follow so I didn't use it, yet still got an A. Google is your friend!

I took Calc I as a college credit with Prof For after I had previously taken it in HS (not for credit). I understood the class materials 100%; however, his grading on exams were difficult. I often had the correct answer and points were deducted for doing it a different way than instructed. His handouts and pre-tests were VERY VERY useful!

This professor's grading methods are subpar. He doesn't take the time to explain his material, and then expects the class to teach themselves. When he does grade, he doesn't follow the school's methods, and if you do a problem any way other than what he's taught, he marks it completely wrong regardless of the answer. Do not take this professor.

Taking his online course and have done pretty well so far. You definitely need to put in the time to learn the material, just like all online classes. You do print out your quizzes, but you can scan and email if you don't want to drop off or mail. Found that his exam reviews are pretty much exactly his exams, so if you have the review down, you will be fine for exams. I have found some simple errors of his, but he's cool about questions and appreciates feedback. I would take his class again.

I took this professor about 4 years ago and am now a Mathematics major at Pitt. Math is something you have to put your mind to but this professor was also able to help with clear examples. If you do the work and don't complain take Je X For!

Took the distance learning course. It was very, very demanding. I wouldn't suggest it if you are trying to get a good grade. You have to print quizzes out yourself, and either mail them to him or put them under his door. He's not very helpful in emails. Very confusing when he responds. Chapter tests are to be taken at the learning center.

He is a really nice teacher and funny guy. His tests and quizes are really easy but if you struggle in math he is probably not the best teacher to explain and give you help. you will need a tutor. Besides that he is great! take him

I hate math and thought I would definatley fail this class in the beginning. He goes really fast and isn'y patient for questions. But in the end he really helps you to be prepared for the exams. His reviews are excellent and a must study guide for tests. If I got an A you can too. Attendance is a must!

Amazing teacher, he breaks it all down so that you can understand math, even when its not your best subject...He is willing to work with you if you have questions and will do examples with you until you have it down!

This class was so easy. He gives a lot of examples and his exam reviews are very similar to the actual exam. He's also willing to work with you if you need help. He makes math not so scary :)

I hate math and have struggled with it forever. This prof made it easy for me to understand....must do homework and come to class. He will help if you ask for it. He asks if everyone understands before he moves on. GREAT GUY.

DO NOT TAKE HIS ONLINE CLASS! I was constantly finding errors in simple math, even missed exam questions because he would do it wrong in the review. Language barrier was a factor too with his typing. He deletes everything, even before the time is up to finish the exam, so print out everything early if you do get stuck with him.

I enjoyed his class very much. I found him easy to understand, accent not withstanding. He was very to the point about the material and the assignments. I hope to take more classes with him in the future.

I liked his teaching method. He is a bit quick so you need to pay attention. I really enjoyed his class as he made math fun for me.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.Stay clear of this teacher.He cannot teach,has no interest in u learning, wants 2 do his job and go home.STAY AWAY FROM HIM!He is not personal, unapproachable,no bonus questions ever given. Although he could care less if you ever come to class.You will learn nothing from this teacher.I am not bitter, got a B, I am an A student.

If you pay attention in class and do his assignments, you actually learn a lot. He has a way of cutting to the chase, and avoiding the confusion and side-tracking, where other math professors tend to take the long way home, so to speak. Plus his sense of humor is TOP NOTCH!
