WMST1110
She's a lot of fun. The topics we covered in class were very interesting and eye opening. She grades easy on essays but the wording on test can be a little confusing.
WMST3010
This professor is really terrible. She arbitrarily assigns grades on ridiculous assignments that make no sense. If you are expecting to learn about feminist theory think again. Every book we read was about black feminist thought and about nothing else. I do not see how this class is a helpful bridge between 2010 and 4010.
WMST1110
She was the most unhelpful professor I have ever had in my UGA career. Her class was just made up of exaggerated stereotypes, and unreasonable claims when it came to feminism. Came in the first day expecting a lot and still not satisfied. A lot of reading (too much for a 1000 level class) and unnecessarily hard tests.
WMST2010
Dr. Ray is really cool, and I enjoyed the class a lot. However, the wording on her tests is often confusing, and might cost you some points. The essays are easy, though - in fact, she never commented or marked on them, so we weren't really sure if she even graded them. Overall, though, if you go to class and do the readings, you'll do fine!

About to take my third class taught by her. very interesting and knowledgeable person. class discussions can get tedious depending on your classmates but she loves those that speak up and especially those that share her opinions. do most of the reading and participate and you'll pass easily. easy grader on essays.
WMST1110
There is TONS of group work. Dr. Ray takes forever to grade things and seems to ramble in class. There is a midterm and a final, which are HARD (MC are tough). Thankfully, Dr. Ray does grade all of the writing (on the tests and the 2 papers) VERY easily. The class isnt too bad, it is just a lot of projects and group work, which can be very annoying

Dr. Ray definitely knows what she is talking about, but I felt like she taught the same information over and over. On some of the assignments her grades seemed based on who she liked more in the class rather than the work, so speak up in the (lengthy) class discussions.

She was a wonderful professor. Would reccomend to anyone with a budding interest in women's studies.

Very interesting class to take her discussions and lectures are engaging and I would recommend this class to anyone. Just make sure you do all the readings and you should do well.

Dr. Ray is an interesting woman to talk to. As long as you read the readings you shouldo fine! Her class is engaging and can entail fun discussions. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Dr. Ray is an awesome professor genuinely interested and knowledgeable on her subject area. Keep up with the readings and participate in her class. You will do well! Amazing person to talk to outside of class! Warning: If you are easily offended by liberal ideology or are closeminded, do not take her class or any WMST class period.
