The material can be challenging, but Kiehl structures the class in such a way that it is very difficult to do poorly. It's also refreshing to have a professor who happens to be a human being and not an academic robot.

Very kind professor who actually explains the material well in class. Course is very manageable if you stay on track and study at all.

She does a great job of explaining things and her test are really straight forward. She bases her test from hw problems in the textbook, so if you do your homework you'll have no problem acing the tests.

Amazing woman. Great teacher. Lessons are very clear and to the point. Come ready to take notes she doesn't pause. If you miss something notes are immediately posted online. Highly recommend.

Professor Kiehl did a solid job teaching Calc II. Granted, the stuff can get terribly dry, but she teaches it, and won't leave you in the dark on anything. She also clearly explains how you will be tested, which is a +.

She is a good teacher, and she is a nice teacher, but as a person she isn't so nice.

Kiehl is definitely my favorite professor here. Concepts are explained extremely well, there's no homework, and tests are pretty easy (and there's a lot of extra credit). Kiehl often gives very big hints about what is going to be on the test and I always felt very prepared going into them. Kiehl is also very nice and helpful as a person.

Calc 2 has changed its structure. There is in-class material and quizzes, as well as "skills" quizzes that cover material at a different pace (a little confusing). She teaches integration well and the quizzes were easy. Lines and planes were hard to understand. Does a lot of in class examples and is helpful during at office hours. Go to class!

She's an amazing professor and gives a ton of extra credit. Super easy if you go to lecture and do the homework. Tests are a lot easier than the homework

She's probably the best professor I have this semester. She covers the material thoroughly in class but still finds time to explain things further if you have questions during lecture. There's never any HW but there are always optional practice problems online. We've had two tests so far and I felt very prepared for both.

She is really nice. The way she teaches her class is great. It is a very simple class and only requires out of class studying. Honestly, she does her part when it comes to teaching. I highly suggest going to office hours. This course is mostly memorization, but also about seeing proof processes. The best thing to do, is practice. Go to class!

Great teacher! This course was easier than AP calc. Set up problems but do not solve. She went through everything very thoroughly even when kids asked dumb questions. You'll have to use maple for labs. Optional final. Easy A if you could handle AP calc.

incompatible, goes too fast, does NOT explain herself ... leaves you in the dark; very difficult to wrap your arms around this teaching method

Had her for both Calc I and II. Get her if you can. Ignore those who say she goes too fast, she doesn't at all. She tells you the exact kinds of problems that will be on the exams, gives study hints and problems, and explains things crystal-clear. I got an A in Calc II. Easy class, and she is easier to listen to and understand than most professors.
