"Clear grading criteria"

Clear grading. Terrible lecturer. I usually come out of the lecture more confused than when I went in. She's polite and comes off as nice and maybe a little ditzy. Would be a lot better if she had a clear lecture format.

Phys of Nutriti Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Shawn knows her stuff. She can be a bit absent minded sometimes. Tests come off of her lectures. Offers extra credit on random lecture days. Valuable class. I think everyone should take it because it is information that can be used in real life. Third exam is the hardest because of all the memorizing. She is super helpful in her office hours!

27 50 Fund Phys Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Flanagan is a really nice instructor. She tries to explain harder concepts in an easier way using real life analogies, however some made the concepts more confusing. She writes on the white board a lot so sit in front. Memorize stuff highlighted in her ppts, book was hardly used. Not the brightest professor, but always helpful

HHP 151 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Shawn is my favorite professor is the HHP department. She's very friendly and helpful and makes class lively by opening up discussion and giving students the chance to answer questions. She is very knowledgeable about her field, and sometimes lectures may be a little out of order but it's not a big deal.

HHP 143 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

At times, she is confusing, but overall, she is decent at teaching. Study extra hard for the third exam because this is one is the hardest. She DOES give extra credit so attend lectures! Read the book and take notes. Like any other classes, put in the time and effort, and it's an easy A.

Worst HHP professor. Super friendly, but very unorganized and scatter-brained. Doesn't talk in full sentences. Test questions poorly written and confusing.

I had her for Understanding Human Disease. Test and online quiz material comes straight from notes. Sometimes would give bonus point quizzes. Class was not mandatory. Overall very cheerful and helpful.

Phys 27-50 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: B

She is very absent minded and does not organize notes well. she breezes through the most difficult material and spends excessive amounts of time on easily grasped content. She writes alot of notes very messily on a small whiteboard so going to class is necessary, Her tests focus on the harder parts that she barely covers but they aren't aweful

She is not a great professor. Speeds through notes. I could barely keep up with her when I was typing my notes. I did not use the book very much. The tests are pretty simple. Weekly online quizzes are an easy way to get points.

Her lectures are VERY fast-paced and confusing. She doesn't seem very intelligent, but it super nice. Exams are straight-forward and weekly quizzes help with points. I didn't use the book much because it went into too much detail, but was helpful for organization of notes.

She's pretty confusing and seems to confuse herself sometimes. Not the smartest professor I've had. That being said, she's a very nice person. Very understanding, tests are pretty straightforward, and always has a good attitude.

If you pay attention in class, read the book, think through the material, and visit her office hours and talk about the material, you'll do great. She goes through content pretty quickly so you'll far behind if you miss class. She is super nice if you visit her office hours, and she will explain concepts until you get them.

Human Phys Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Quizzes every weekend that pretty much save your grade. She is very confusing when it comes to explaining major concepts. She writes on a SMALL board and therefore the kids in back cannot understand. Scribbles alot on the board. You will get lost in her lecture if you do not pay attention the whole time. Tests were okay.. not easy though

Genetic Disease Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

This class is a waste of time. Take classes with intelligent professors or you will just be burning valuable time and money. Her lectures are not logically organized and relate poorly to one another. She usually gets confused trying to explain her own concepts.

SCA1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

The course is overall a joke. It doesn't challenge you to think outside of what has been taught since the 70's. She asks random detailed questions to be tricky so you have to pay attention in class. She isn't organized and seems like she hardly cares about what she is "teaching" based on how fast she goes. Definitely NOT my favorite prof...

Loved this class. Easy, helpful, relaxed atmosphere - tests can be tricky. I had a background of Physiology so it really wasn't bad. Textbook was NEVER used. Go to class - she draws things out that aren't on the slides. She'll ask questions in class for anyone to answer. Quizzes every weekend!

Covers easy stuff very slow and breezes through challenging material. Kind of ditsy. One of the worst Integrative Physiology professors but good comparative to most Iowa profs.
