lectures are extremely boring. Dont need to attend it, because it's useless. Just read the assigned article and you will do well. The discussion group was just as useless, but attendence is mandatory. One of the most boring class in my 3 years in UBC so far. |

HIS EYEBROWS NEVER STOP MOVING. HE USES RIDICULOUSLY LONG AND CONFUSING USELESS WORDS. LECTURES ARE CHOPPY AND DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU HAVE ADHD...SLEEP IS INEVITABLE. ALSO HIS EYEBROWS ARE WAYYY TOO DISTRACTING. DISCUSSION TA'S ARE WHACK |

I thought this was a geography class, but it totally turned out to be a history class. So History 12 did help me in some ways. Final exam marking was really harsh. Don't take this class if you are an ESL student. |

Extremely nice and helpful professor. I didn't have a GEOG background so did poorly on the midterm...I went to see him during office hours after that and my mark went up because he'll take the time to explain how to do better for the final. Go to class for the notes, start early on the book report. |
