he can be very rude sometimes. you never really know exactly what your grade is. papers are pretty straight forward but really boring to write. keep up on writing your journals and be there for peer review and youll be fine. not an amazing class but definately do-able.

He was pretty decent guy and was willing to work with people. I put in the work and got the grade.. others in the class didn't though.

A lot of short story reading, and small papers due all the time. I suppose i liked this teacher better than others but he really tries to make you do a lot of work in this class...overall i give this teacher a 7 not great but most importantly not bad...

I had this professor last year. Good professor. Class is based upon 6-8 essay papers, no lectures. Class time is strictly devoted to group work- reading & reviewing their papers (good time to meet others). No tests or quizes. Prof. grades very fairly and is really helpful. I would higly recommend this professor to all students

Definitely recommended. He is very laid back and lets you choose your topics. Go to class and do the homework and you should get an A. He will test you on the readings, so do them. Otherwise he is a cool guy and I will make an effort to have him again!

He is a great English teacher - the best I have ever had. He focuses more on the importance of proper grammar and creative thinking rather than pointless, technical terminologies. It's a demanding class but he will help you become a better writer if you apply yourself.

I didnt like him or the class. Graded papers extremely hard. All papers have to be very long on topics that make you want to sleep. He also has a very dry sense of humor, only funny to himself.

You better show up to class on time or he'll call you out. Also, pay attention to any films and hand in papers on time or he'll call you out. I think it's his first year teaching because he likes to flex his authoritative muscles.

This was a good class he tells you at the begining there will be five papers when there is really only four. He gives you lots of time to work on papers i never felt rushed... there really isn't much to learn in this class if you went to high school.

Nice guy. Kinda boring. Stares at the back of the classroom the whole time. Definitely doesn't like it when you are late. Overall, not half bad.

Just started class today so I haven't much input, but my first impression is that this will be a good class as far as writing classes go. As expected, a boatload of writing, but the prof seems fair and has a good personality and sense of humor to boot. No previous input, has anyone had him? I rated all 3's since I haven't much to go on.
