I have never met a professor at Bradley who cares so much about what he is teaching than Dr. Zaborowski. He REALLY wants you to learn, and he is so passionate about teaching. His classes aren't easy, but not hopelessly difficult either. It's easy to pay attention to his lectures because he really knows what he's talking about. TAKE HIS CLASSES!!

Smart guy, knows his stuff but tends to be kinda long winded and boring. Don't skip class, he takes attendance and you might miss a quiz. Most of the work comes from your text so if you have a good understanding of the reading you'll have no problems.

at first it was really hard to understand his notes. the tests are easy, but his lectures always put me to sleep. he takes a lot of getting used to. he is a little goofy, but if you show up and participate a little, he is nice.

Very nerdy guy. Enthusiastic in a monotonous way. Heavy text use. Hard class. I don't recommend it at all.

Nice guy. However, for those not interested in the subject, it is not an enjoyable class. Midterm & final were difficult. Take another gen.ed. if you're not interested in religion. Offers extra credit, but it's time consuming.

Very intelligent person. You use four books. Textbook, Quran, Understanding Quran, and a novel. Lots of reading. Interesting subject. Pop quizzes and some announced. A couple of writing assignments, but lets you do a rough draft first. Two tests, mid-term and final. Non-comprehensive final. Funny.

To much work in my opinion. You write 2 paragraphs and write a 5 page paper, 2 quizzes a week for the entire semester, and theres a 60 question midterm and final. ALOT of reading so be prepared. He's a nice guy though. Take this class if you want..

Interesting class. Not hard but not a blow off, you have to go to class! Tests consist of quiz questions and class discussions, powerpoints are useless for most part so dont bother lol. I really enjoyed the class with Zabrowski, he really knows what hes talking about!

Very intelligent man. I took this to complete my non-western civ gen-ed. Really interesting and not too hard. A couple papers and a couple tests. Study and you'll get a good grade. Definitely a class to take to substitute for CIV.

My favorite teacher. Uses visual aids which are very helpful. Knowledgeable. Great J and May courses. You will learn much. Lots of reading. Nice guy for the most part. Talk to him. Best on Islam. Thought-provoking. Assignments are journals. Keep asking questions and try to think up answers to them. Will help review papers if asked. Talk in class!!!

RLS100 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Doesn't actually know about any religion but islam. He only knows what is literally in the book (nontextbook). You're better off using wikipedia to learn. 2-3 quizzes a week, 4 books + papers. Way too much work for a gen ed. Also, 5 absences means an automatic failure. He's a fool.

He is a very intelligent man. He sincerely knew what he was talking about. Very helpful if you had a question. Grades are somewhat subjective, so popping into his office and talking helps :) A lot of work, but you learn a lot! Inspires deep thought.

He is a very smart man, but this class was way too much work for a 100 level gen ed class. He also likes to grunt at the class to get their attention. To be honest, he kind of scares me.

This was a great J term course. I learned more than I expected about the Middle East. Very approachable and answers questions clearly. He uses a lot of media, clear powerpoints and film clips. Writing was a little long but it was journaling on what we learned. I highly recomend him for this course.

Do not take this course as a a Jan-Term class. There is way to much information for you to comprehend for each class. The reading is boring and that is the entire class along with long writing assignments. He knows what he is talking about but teaches like we know everythin as well.
