Not by any means an Art major. This class was endless lecture for 3 hours. You get a 20 minute break, then back to lecture. Grade is some small assignments, 1 project, and 3 tests, one of the first two is dropped, the 3rd is the final (not cumulative). Each test requires you to know almost everything you learned. Really picky about being late.

Grade consists of 2 tests, you take 3 but she drops the lowest score of 1st two. Tests are not trick questions, it's straightforward. Her class was a bit challenging b/c she discussed the painting and artist, and moments later she'll quickly transition to another painting or simply go off topic. 1st impression: annoying, but you'll get used to it.

Really sweet teacher, passionate about her subject. does give essay questions worth 30 points on the last two exams, and this is the hardest part of the exam since you don't know what paintings she will pick. The essays are really straight forward though. Just know what she has said about the paintings. Multiple choice is super easy.

Grade A is not easy to achieve in this class. I worked so hard for the project which is mandatory, but did not receive a good grade on it. I would not recommend this class.

Good professor overall. Class is spent vigorously copying notes as she lectures on slides. It's easy to study for, but you do need to study. She does have a mandatory museum visit assignment, so be aware of that. Overall she's a good teacher, I can tell she really cares about her students.

This class is relatively easy. I didn't study much for the tests, but did all right on them. My class was once a week, so attendance is highly encouraged. This would be ok as a schedule filler to reach full-time student status. She is a friendly teacher, and answers questions in class.

Attend classes and take notes, then you will be fine. I dont know what is the standard of "easy a" (dont have to come to class and no exams? why do you want to go to university?) but if you can follow the instructions she has given then you are very likely to get an A.

Don't take this class. Boring, and she has a habit of saying "Right?" and "K?" Such a distraction and just a bad teacher overall. Whole grade based on one test and the final. Not fun.

She is a easygoing professor. Does not demand much of students. That said be prepared to take lots of notes and try not to skip classes. 3 absences is her max. 3 exams drops the lowest, 1 extra credit assignment. Don't bother buying the book no use for it at all.

she is not a easy teacher, if you want to get a easy A dont take her class. you have to attend all classes. you have to take notes. she is very clear about what she wants from you for test or assignments. she does care about her students but her teaching is very boring, also when it comes to grading she is strict

DO NOT TAKE IF YOU AREN'T AN ART MAJOR. I took this class thinking it would be an easy A due to the reviews on this site and it definitely is not. She is very strict on attendance and subjective in her grading. I am a straight A student but this class is just way too much work for an Introductory class. Avoid unless you are okay with working hard.

As long as you attend class and take a lot of notes you will do just fine. She is very passionate about what she teaches so it makes it much more interesting to listen to. There is not much reading required but it definitely compliments her lectures and your notes. I recommend taking her class.

I honestly don't understand how anyone could get lower than a B in this class, her tests were super easy. Just attend every class, and take a lot of notes, and you are golden. Also don't buy the text book if you are taking Art72, it wasn't used at all.

Is not willing to help you. She doesn't give good or accurate information. She also tends to go on and on about the same information that doesn't have anything to do with the slide she is on or to do with the chapter she tries to tell us that we are on. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

Excellent prof. Not easy tho. 3 tests drops 1. 1 extra cred assignment. Goes by notes not by book. Sends emails to let you know what to expect and do. puts up everything for you on website. Super helpful and approachable. Very clear lecture and repeats a lot. She's got beauty and brains. Art is her life. Definitely recommended.

This is not the easiest "A". There are three tests with an essay on each on.e She repeats herself so many times that if you go to each class you will not have to study for long. Do the extra credit, take notes, and LISTEN and you will be more than okay.

A great teacher and approachable. Grade based on three tests, lower score of first two is dropped. Take as many notes as possible during class and keep up with the readings as information regarding nearly everything is tested. Not too hard of a class but you must study and practice your memorization before tests to be successful.
