The class was not well organized. Very unstructured. When asking for assistance on his vaguely worded assignments Moore is not helpful. No need to purchase the text. He made easy material complicated.

Paul is the kind of professor who truly cares about the success of his students. Not many profs can boast about having that quality. He takes time out of his day to help no matter what. Is a fair marker, and always has a smile on even in an early class. You can't hate him, its impossible and you can't do bad in his classes ever, he won't let you.

He can be confusing sometimes but overall he really cares about students and their success. Always there to answer questions. He took 35 hours out of his week once to ensure he met with all the students in my class. He is excellent

Definitely one of the more understanding and caring professors - he genuinely wants you to do well! Gives clear instructions on what he expects with respect to assignments and is very fast in providing constructive feedback. A very sympathetic person, and it was a pleasure having him as a professor!

Great prof. Taught the course in a well organized manner and had a sense of humour. The assignments aren't that tough, and if you take his comments/criticisms seriously, you're guaranteed to improve. Plus, he incorporates The Colbert Report into the course. What more could you want?

This class was informative and Professor Moore will do anything and everything he can to help you if you discover you need it. His assignments are definitely challenging, but I found that enough feedback was given after the first assignment to improve significantly on the second one. He is a pretty awesome guy, although at times very confusing.

Good prof, tells u exactly what he expects from tests/assignments and goes into great detail explaining things. Some of the material is very boring, but what can u do its a required class. O yeah and the textbook was the worst ever, only class notes help.

don't buy the text book. you will only need to know the small amount of imformation you learn in letcure. which is kind of unfortunate cause you have to go to a 3 hour lecture just to get a page worth of notes youll need for the midterm and exam.

Moore will assist, accomodate, ancourage, and champion any student willing to put in some work. The lectures are fun, yet lacking a necessary flow. Too much emphasis on categorical learning, than theoretical development. Book was a waste of money. Assignments are challenging and are definitely learning experiences.

very unsure of himself, and it shows in his inability to capture and conduct the class. his entire 3 hour lecture involves going over a few definitions, but failing to tell you the point in knowing them, how they relate, or why they are useful. covers about 1% of the material in the textbook, they might as well be 2 different courses.
