Dr. Leder is a knowledgable professor who cares about his students. He gives several extra credit opportunities and it is difficult to do poorly in the course. Put forth effort, do the readings, and participate every now and again in class and you'll do well. Highly recommend taking him.

I took Asian Thought with Dr. Leder. His class involves alot of work and alot of reading. However, the reading is interesting and is very rewarding. You will learn a substantial amount about Asian culture and religion. It's a great class. Highly recommended!

HN280 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Easy-going guy who genuinely wants all of his students to do well. He encourages class discussion and original thought, and is not too hard of a grader either. While lectures can sometimes become repetitive, the content is often interesting. I recommend taking his class.

Read what he assigns b/c he likes to give reading check quizzes(open notes reading check quizzes so take notes)If you don't understand something, go to his office hours b/c he's more helpful there rather than after class.Read the books, take notes in class, and use the review sheet, you'll be good for the test

PL216 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Tons of pointless quizzes and extra assignments outside of class. Experiental tracks were useless and spent more time than others in my group but still did not get the credit. I'd skip it. Made me lose my interest in eastern religions by turning them into a bunch of useless jargon.

Really really nice guy. He calls on whoever he feels like, and doesn't really care if youre wrong, just wants to know you are paying attention and likes to hear your opinion so dont panic...class consisted of 1 group presentation (so easy), 3 tests which were all essays, and 1 paper. understanding guy.

Wacko, but really nice. always eating. class is super boring, but take notes and get through them and you can get a B with little effort. He is bizarre, but he wears it well.
