His power points is what I used to study. Going to the lecture helped a lot.The final was much harder than the midterm. I am not sure if he curved the class enough. I pulled off an A after putting in huge effort.

Econ1 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

He has a thick accent as if something is in his throat and there's a huge language barrier. Course is not hard at all, just know how to study Econ. grasp the graphs and terms. you have to think of econ in real life terms. Since no one really understood him, tests had low scores, and curve was high.

econ100c Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

I hate this professor, he doesn't care about students, especially their grades. I wonder how many people actually got A, because I worked so hard and got way above the means of 2 midterms, but I couldnt still get A. I hope he will learn to be more considerate about grading and should know how much grades matter to his students.

he's a cool professor. He's very helpful if you go to his office hour. His curve is extremely low. I really enjoy his class even though Econ is not my personal favorite subject. Coolest professor ever...!

Worst lecturer I have ever had. Only 20/300 people show up because he just reads the books powerpoint slides. Accent makes him somewhat hard to understand Terrible tests - free response q's have 7-8 parts, A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H and last ones are worth like 10% of your grade so if you do prior one wrong you get it automatically wrong. AVOID!!!

He is nice. Lectures are online. Reading the book is helpful. Midterms are easy if you do the homework

Nieto is a great guy, and a good professor. He was approachable and all around excellent in office hours, but his lectures were straight from book and just ok. Midterm and final represented material, but were very long, requiring every second. Accent was not a problem; easily understood and if anything it just made his lectures more entertaining.

I took him for econ 170 b and econ 2. I thought he was an excellent professor. His teaching style is power point so if you miss his classes its ok. His tests are easy if you read through the notes and do his practice problems.

His accent is not that bad, though his teaching style is not that good. His lectures were basically the book in power point form, and the book often stated the concept better than he did. The class was simple enough though, just put it on yourself to know the material. Oh, and his tests were very poorly worded, so watch out! Overall, not horrible

ECON3 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

His midterm was really easy, got an A+ but his final was horrible, three hours was simply not enough he claims 2 hours for everyone should be more than enough but a third of the class was still working on the test at the third hour. Study hard for the final, nothing like the midterm. Good luck...and oh his accent is not that bad..totally understan
