MATH107H Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Skoug teaches very well. Many of his test questions are based off of his class examples. Take good notes and work on the book problems that he gives and you will pass his class without a problem. I took both 107H and 208H with him.

MATH104 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Mr.Skoug is too old to still be teaching. He gives very few examples and spends the majority of the class going over useless information. The only reason I'm passing is because of the math resource center. I have learned nothing from Mr. Skoug himself.

MATH104 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Skoug is old but can still teach. I love all of his old-timey phrases and he would usually regale us from time to time about his days on the farm as a youngster. "What is the name of the cow whose name is Teresa?" Classic. Take good notes and use the math resource center. it's there for a reason.

MATH104 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Only shows 2-4 problems per class, so he can't teach all concepts. Goes on pointless birdwalks. Quizzes are 2-4 problems, so tiny mistakes=big deductions. The final was insane and was overly difficult. Don't be fooled into thinking the final will be like the quizzes, they are night and day. Overall a mediocre teacher.

Very easy going and caring. Willing to help outside of class and offer additional resources. Makes sure students understand.

Skoug is such a great guy, and very entertaining in the class. He can tend to go off on random tangents, but it's usually after he's said what he needs to. He's very helpful outside of the classroom, and a really nice guy.
