Save yourself.Literally reading about 30-40 pages for homework, just in one assignment that's not the whole week. Write notes otherwise you get a bad notebook grade, make sure you have somewhat of an understanding cause there's an essay quiz every class. This class was a joke.

To be fair to this man would be too much of a kindness. He graded on four things: the length of your essays (I cursed him out in a paper and he didn't notice), whether you are a girl or not, if so your cup size, and lastly how low cut your shirt is. So if you are a girl that loves to write a lot and look sexy then you will get an A. Guys stay away.

A REAL NUT!I love History but most of the time his class seems like the Philosophy of Reilly. VERY VERY subjective and vague about what he requires. Regurgitate his dribble in your paper...get an A. The reading is torture, books written by Reilly. A real grandstanding pompous writing about the evils of Capitalism!

Ummm do not take this man online! Especially if you do not like History! 3 Exams in total and postings. Each test 3 essay questions 2-3pgs. writing on each question. Absolutely no teacher student feedback and he never gets back to you. I have taken many online courses and this is by far the hardest. There is A LOT of reading so be prepared.BadGrd

don't take global patterns of racism. they fail to tell you that the class is a combo hist, lit, anth class taught by 3 different profs. I had reilly and he didn't do anything. any time I needed help I'd have to go to Bodino or Kaufman since they were the ones designing the class schedule

worst teacher i have ever had. do not take him. he does not want to help. i basically had to beg for him to get help for the final, if he even does help. he sucks and makes me not want to go to his boring lecture BS. they should fire the retard who gave him the teacher of the year award. thanks

i hated this class. i did poorly even though i wrote the idea and concepts he was teaching on the test. he doesnt grade intellegence he grades by how much u write. in my mind he has failed as a teacher.

I love history so I loved his class. Do the readings and take notes...he grades your notebooks so the more you write the better. There's a 10 minute essay on the readings each class and they really help prepare for the tests which are all essay type questions. 2 tests and a final. No midterm. He's a really nice guy and is always willing to help

Like everyone else has been saying, Reilly is a cripple-master. You have to write and write and write until your fingers bleed and your vision blurs, then write some more. Don't worry about making any sense: I rambled on about how I hate history and why does pain hurt and he gave me an A. Tons of reading and writing, but worth it; you learn a lot.

the amount of reading was enormous you had to read chapters from two texts and and an online text. Considerig this was online the discussions and posts are crucial!! In this class the posts had crickets chirping and tumble weed blowing through. He didn't not stimulate discussion he did next to NOTHING! The test he expects more than he gives!

This teacher is all about notes...but he does not actually read the notes so you can just copy straight out of the book remember quantity over quality...he is not hard at all!! He sometimes leaves the room dor the tests always tells you what's on the test and its always open ended questions that once again the more you write the better grade you ge

This man is a true teacher and wonderful person. His class requires you to read the text, take lots of notes (he grades your note books) and participate in class. If you take part in the class you'll do fine but if you are a slacker and just want to go in on exam day and take the test then this class is not for you.

Kevin Rilly is a great teacher, he is hard but he answeres any questions you may have. 10 min quiz before every class there easey as long as you read the "thinking historical" He likes big note books filled with notes on class but he never reads the notes u wright. Test are very easey you review the questions before test. I WOULD TAKE THIS TEACHER.

Prof. Reilly rocks! Just get involved in conversations and take notes. If you just try a bit - you will do great. He makes history do-able by categorizing topics by subjects instead of chronilogically.

Good Teacher. MUST READ & LISTEN attentively and take A LOT of notes (however pointless u may find it, it will help in ur tests!) He's not really interested in the quality of what u have to say in ur NOTEBOOKS just the QUANTITY (write big and fill up a lot of pages AND COLLECT NY TIMES ARTICLES WEEKLY!!). In TESTS, reproduce what u read-QUALITY
