If you put the effort in to come to class and listen, the class itself will be interesting. Participating makes it interesting as well. Term paper is pretty lengthy but a great grade bump if you do well! For the tests, know your stuff. As in.. read his notes and the readings assigned.

Doesnt take attendence but you should go bc he writes down EVEERYTHING thatll be on the exams on the board. Sit close bc his hand writing is hard to read. Midterm,paper and final. Not a super hard class but you NEED to study or seek tutoring.Really nice older guy and always willing to help.

He writes all the notes up on the board. If you write down everything you will do well.He doesnt take attendence but YOU HAVE TO COME TO CLASS!! in order to do well. He is a really easy grader and a very understanding teacher. I would suggest taking his class.

TAKE HIM. His class is very clear and he teaches in a straight forward way. Does not take attendance, but worth going. As long as you take good notes on the board and listen you'll do great. Tests exactly on notes no surprises. I barely studied he explained that well. Great guy, tells good jokes. 1 midterm, 1 final and 1 paper. Awesome class.

Knows his stuff but very very boring you literally fall asleep. The textbooks themselves are soo boring and hard to read. Don't take him. Taking notes is hard because he has a terrible handwriting and he talks to the board most of the time.

This man knows his stuff! I will admit that he writes extremely small so it's hard to read the notes but they are incredibly clear and he is more than willing to help out. The class is not boring if you devote the 55 to listen and take notes because I did just that and got A's on everything and missed at least 12 classes. Attendance is not required

Sklarin's good at what he teaches. He gives a midterm, final, and paper (towards the end of the semester). Never read the book, which sometimes I wished I had. He gives a lot of notes that would be enough to pass his exams. I recommend attending class because it will definitely help you in passing his exams.

good guy, knows his stuff....but his class is so boring and so much stuff to remember for each test. dont take him if u cant stand a boring class.

Such an easy class. Just take all the notes and study them well for the midterm and final. I used the book to study for the midterm and found out that it was all just stuff we had in the notes. Never looked at the book for the final and still got an A for the class. highly recommended.

Easy!! Doesn't care about attendance only takes it in beginning to sure up his roster. Now the reason he doesn't care about attendance is because he writes a lot of notes on the board. These notes in my opinion are Key to passing I hardly read anything in the book. Midterm/Final/ Paper was optional Good luck!!!
