WMST 130 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A

Wambui is an honored professor in the woman's studies department. She has a unique perspective and way she teaches the class that not everyone will agree with. If you keep an open mind and take notes while she lectures, you will do fine! The coursework is fairly light, just a few written assignments and group presentations.

WMST Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Wambui is one of the best professors at Oneonta. A lot of the bad reviews are students who are not used to having to understand complex social concepts which challenge their thoughts. Wambui is difficult but she will award those who try. She will help those who are open to learning but will not tolerate people who argue for the sake of it.

This is the worst professor on campus. She is a hard grader and doesn't understand nor care about how vague she is. She is a nice lady, but kindness only goes so far when you're a hard grader. She explains nothing, she is hard to understand, and you either think of it from her perspective or you're wrong. She doesn't know anything about her topic.

Ill start with the fact that I LOVE school! I have never felt so strongly about having a HORRIBLE prof. She keeps us late, doesnt let us speak, when we do speak she tells us we are wrong. She gives NO guidelines for assignments,is BEYOND ununclear to say the least. It is VERY hard to understand her speak. DO NOT be late!DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HER CLASS

ALS100 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

I really liked her, she likes you a lot if you go to every class and as long as you skim through the readings you'll know enough to keep up with her in class, she explains everything and is very helpful. only 2 tests, midterm and a final and they are very easy. I really really recommend taking this class.

Wambui is a wonderful and highly intelligent woman. This class taught me more than almost any in college. It is not easy and you REALLY have to listen to what she says because she can be hard to understand. There is a lot of group work and you have to use the book. I recommend Wambui and this class.

While she is a very nice lady, she is often very vague. She doesn't appreciate any kind of opposing opinions and almost goes out of her way to prove you wrong. I felt that she really did not like views that opposed hers or the text book. You NEED the text book. She also puts great importance on attendance. Tests are strange/unclear.

PHIL001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Wambui is an excellent professor. One MUST be an independent thinker in order to do well in her courses. She will not spoon feed you theory, and she insists that students actively seek to understand the material outside of what is contemplated in class. If you do not want to do real theorhetical work, do not take a course with her.

PHIL102 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

She is still trying to learn english and things about american culture. She tends to have her own view and on tests which are mainly essays you need to follow her views or be an excellent writer. She loses papers and takes her time giving them back. She is one of those teachers that only gives reading as homework besides the 2 take home essays.
